Polearm master lets you reaction attack an enemy that moves into range. It gets especially hilarious when multiple enemies bunch up and move into range at the same time. It's fun. I can see a point that its a one at a time thing but at our table if they move up together, they can die together :)

My compromise would be very similar in that when initiative is rolled i'd just let them say they had it precast.

Just noticing it takes your action. If you take the dodge action all enemies attack with disadvantage and you keep your concentration. Maybe they changed how dodge works?

Me too. Respect people that want to own books, enjoy reading them and displaying them. As I've gotten older my eyesight sucks so digital is a better product for me. I generally like errata changes too and like to play as much as possible RAW so having updated digital content is appealing to me...

I like the change. Even if they got rid of the ability score being cap'd at once per spell level. I would have had it stack. So 2nd level cure light does 2d8 + x2 ability modifier.

Thank you for putting up summary posts like this. Saves me 30 minutes. These videos are fine for people new to the hobby but for folks who keep up with things and have already extensively used UA material in there game its a snoozefest.

Pretty bold to look at 1/2 of the fan base and say they are overreacting about seeing a class that was the worst designed from 2014, gets a redo in 2024 and is by far the least best reviewed. I'm seeing very constructive arguments about why this design is well behind all the rest.

I think you make some fair points about what you like. The "If WotC had called this jack of all trades "the bard" you'd all be going gaga over it!" sounds like fan blaming and its so tiring. That strategy is unconvincing and won't convince anyone to your point of view. If your just venting then...
