Closing in on two years now. :( Was just thinking of him last month, as it seems like a lot of my friends are dying young.

If it means anything, I am thinking about doing more freelancing work for 5th edition (if/when such a thing becomes available), and if I do that my work would be just as inspired by the CC as it was for my 3.5 published freelance work. :)

Yep, that's what I figured. Baleful polymorph on a mass scale might be a great idea! Control winds might work, but that sounds a lot riskier, and has a chance of drawing a lot of attention and possibly disrupting the local ecosystem. I don't know about the wildshaping... sounds painful. ;)...
