D&D 5E (2014) I thought WotC was removing biological morals?

If someone diverges so much too use his own deities, than diverging as little as to change/ignore one little line in the statblock is the least required effort.

D&D 5E (2014) I thought WotC was removing biological morals?

Not just parts of Germany and France. There's no part of Europe that today is settled by the same people that first lived there after ariving when it was truly unoccupied land. Countless migrations, wars and conquests have seen to that. Just look at that rough draft of the different groups of...

Actually the treatment of dragons and that it should be changes comes up in almost every one of the threads, even if dragons were not the specific threat starter

That SAME LANGUAGE is still being used for a lot of other humanoid mortal races. They are just not as front and center as orcs and drow and only because of that still mostly fly under the radar.

D&D 5E (2014) I thought WotC was removing biological morals?

We know that there are still archfeys and that they have courts. Even on the material plane I could imagine redcaps working for hags. I always though that the servant of the white witch in the first narnia movie was supposed to be a redcap. But apparently it was just a narnian dwarf

D&D 5E (2014) I thought WotC was removing biological morals?

Indeed. Dwarf+Elf and Orc+Dwarf and Orc+Elf once just did not work because their gods were at odds or outright hostile toward each other Except for those living in the Feywild with other fey. There they have something that would be called "society" in mortal terms.

D&D 5E (2014) I thought WotC was removing biological morals?

Well, first of all that whole myth is just that, a racial myth. Was never portrayed as truth and is outright opposed to other racial D&D myth. But within the context of said myth, then if they gods collectively agreed to have such a joker lot in the pot, then they can't complain about someone...

D&D 5E (2014) I thought WotC was removing biological morals?

Neither have orcs or drow. Certain descriptions attached to them have been used to hurt RL people, but this had nothing to do with those also being attached to orcs and drow. It's merely an unfortunate link that people wanted to see removed because they did not want to see the reminder in D&D...

They may not have babies, but they certainly have culture. The loner on the material plane not so much, but only due to being on his own. But they ones in the feywild attenting the courts of dark archfey do play a role in fey culture

which covers such a wide range that anyone can do ut for almost anything. The horde of mindless flesh eating zombies? Poor proxie for the "dark hordeds of savage others, who are of limited intellect and a threat to your ressources. Making them mindless is just an attempt to hide the racism...

They were rare in early to mid 2020, but since autumn there's plenty of supply.

    D&D 5E (2024) Should There Be a Core Setting?

Especially the 2e MM had as much if not more space dedicated to the ecology of the monsters than to their stats.

That's why Germany requires medical masks since our 3rd wave and community masks are no longer enough to be in line with c19 rules

    D&D and the rising pandemic

Beide the gap in insurance between USA and Germany (almost impossible to not be insured here) that explains it. Here you can only get it from a doctor, not in pharmacies and certainly not in grocery stores (which in Germany are not even allowed to sell any meds). And with a doctor here you...

    D&D and the rising pandemic

That's impressive. People in Germany just seem to not care. Admittely I never got mine until it was offered at work. Just once a year knock on a door I pass by daily anyway. If I had to make an extra appointment at my doctor and go there in my free time, I wouldn't bother to get it too

Do "most" people get vaccinations against influenza in the US? Last stats I saw for Germany are that less than 30% take the offered vaccination against influenza each season

D&D 5E (2014) WotC Explains 'Canon' In More Detail

Actually that's not the case. The wall is around the City of the Dead, not around the entire Fugue Plane. The souls of the faithful never enter the confines of the wall. They gather in groups on the field outside of the City of the Dead and are then picked up by collectors send by their deity...

Those nation also punish being religios by death if you convert to the wrong (in there eyes) one. And the US really needs to get over this. In Europe it's the other way round and you'd be looked at funny if come out as going to church every Sunday.

D&D 5E (2014) WotC Explains 'Canon' In More Detail

In 3e characters without a patron deity could only be raised withing a certain timeframe (1d10 day I believe), thereafter they couldn't be brought back by mortal means. This was meant to represent the time they spend waiting in line before being judged by Kelemvor and then put into the wall...
