No, the Eberron campaign is separate. You could create a new Eberron character just in case. That campaign isn't as widespread as the FR one yet, but you never know.

The AL Red War adventure is one of their epic modules, particularly dangerous, and you were a new 1st level character with no extra resources. Almost any AL adventure that you play hereafter will be easier. You can freely rebuild your character until 5th level, so you can try different things.

An Admin has said this specifically on FB, but it's also something you can deduce from the text in the ALPG - a character receives downtime and renown as a consequence of receiving ACP.

Something else that comes up in my session zeroes: What are the ethics of the group? For a spy or pulp action game, do we kill or take prisoners? In D&D, do we allow evil PCs? The intra-group strife can be just awful if these things aren't settled beforehand.

Indeed; I missed that. The DC in 4E for Aid Another was just a bit easier than the "Moderate" DC for a task. By that philosophy, I amend my suggestion. Task DC-10 is probably too easy. -8 or -5 would be closer in style.
