I’m inclined to agree with you, I think the poison immunity would definitely be gone as the Umamish is acting as an organ an is now dead. What about btw stat bonuses? I’m not entirely sure that changes to your bulk and nervous system could just wither away?

Pg 133 of the planestriders journal lists a new disease the Umamish Infection. It has 4 stages and as it gets progressively worse it also transforms the host granting some benefits. Do you think the cure would remove the benefits as well?

The consensus seems to be that, 1. You are correct, without 3rd party material the feat would not fully work at lvl 8 as you would not have a 2nd level slot 2. Not working at level 8 is a bit of a moot point as no one can really see why it would be taken at level 8

IMO you wouldn’t go 4/4, extra attack is too important to wait. Pick your primary class and go straight to 5, if Herald is your primary maaaaaaybe throw fighter 1 in there somewhere. After that get 4 levels in your off class, that puts you at 9 minimum anyway, you may dis agree and that’s fine...

Given that find steed is from the paladin list I’d be more inclined to go 5th, I do see 6th as reasonable but I don’t think a Herald should have to leave its class to get a rare version of an iconic Herald spell.

I believe eldritch scythe is worded as such so that it can trigger as a melee attack would, you typically can’t take an attack of opportunity with a spell. To be clear, it doesn’t require a melee attack it emulates one.
