Humanoid Resources - do they actually CONTRIBUTE anything to the workplace, or just clog up the works all the time and make it impossible to get any real work done?

    OOTS: 807 Wild Empathy

Do you folks ever, like, jump back a dozen or so pages once in a while, and read them all back to back? That's pretty essential to "getting" OotS these days. Like, the last few years or so. New OotS

I know we aren't supposed to read real players behind the characters anymore, but I often think of Durkon as being played by a fellow who everyone loves, who everyone considers the premier comedic player at the game table, but who is also the player that can only make like one game every couple...

    Deciding your PC race.

I usually start with a concept, but the first thing I do is ask the DM what races are available. I've found that most DMs already have an idea of what they think appropriate for the when/why of my character joining the party, and I roll with that. I honestly can't think of a single time since...

Getting my younger children involved in RPG

Time. All it takes is time. Keep them at the table long enough, and suddenly take them away from the game-table and all they'll be able to think about it getting back in. People are people, kids are are kids. But kids are [little] people too, and their psychological works ain't too different...

    Is D&D Art?

D&D is not designed or set up in such a way that it can be enjoyed by those outside the game observing one in progress. I would wager that an observer wouldn't necessarily enjoy a storyhour fully unless they are in the game, or unless the writer transcends the genre.
