I have to agree about kids in inappropriate movies or just misparented/loud kids in movies in general. For me it is often worth the drive to make it to one of the ArcLight Theatres 21+ showings of a film just for that reason.

It would also be interesting to get an idea of how much of the session time is spent in actual play. For example my group gets together around 7ish but usu. doesn't settle down to serious dice rolling until after 8, so the session is 5-6 hours but the actual play time is closer to 4+.

I would just ask him to ink them in a good contrasting color so the +'s were clearly visible or better yet one color for the low 0-9 and one color for the high 0-9. If he is not willing to do that to use his favorite dice then he most likely is fudging his rolls.

Interesting idea. I had always though of it as more of catch up skill for multi-classed druids and rangers. It makes for some very tough animal companions with a straight druid. Not that it matters from a rules stand-point but would this allow the animals to have more HD than the Druid himself...
