They make the class more like itself, basically. What that looks like varies by class. The fighter gets rare weapon proficiencies and then access to something new called exotic weapons that are basically intended to represent the kind of unique signature weapons you see from warriors in media...

At this point? Probably not. The feats do follow the synergy feat chain format, too; and I'm also not sure what the vampire and werewolf feats are synergizing with, either. Sometimes you just have to accept that the terminology is weird with game mechanics.

They are indeed. Mike tagged me into the thread after the initial batch of feats I wrote up for En5ider came up. It is indeed another approach, but perhaps one some other folks reading might find useful.

I was the original author of those multiclass feats articles in EN5ider and I eventually expanded them into my very first third-party release. It's a few years old at this point, but it covers all the base classes in the 2014 PHB. (It's also on sale for $3 as of this message posting.)

Update: revised cover design was accepted and a print proof has been ordered. We'll see how this looks in a few weeks!
