    D&D 5E (2014) Trading AC for DR in 5e

Just use the d20 SRD/Unearthed Arcana variant.

D&D 5E (2014) How would imposing no stacking of magic affect 5E game balance?

This transparent, undermining, backhanded slandering towards 5th Ed is very amusing, I will continue to highlight your passive tirade of: 5th Ed is the best horrendous game, I really enjoy playing crap again, golly, I love poorly developed games! …for shame…

    D&D 5E (2014) D&D Multiverse as setting - do you do it?

Yep, it is in a a closed Crystal Sphere, but the Githyanki have got there, via the Astral (The Mists from Ravenloft and portals from Sigil can get there). Basically, before you can access the Ethereal or Astral, you must penetrate The Grey. The Black is a pocket dimension that surrounds the...

    D&D 5E (2014) D&D Multiverse as setting - do you do it?

Exactly, say no to the Time of Troubles, Age of Mortals, Unhuman War II, Grand Conjunction, Prism Pentad, Faction War, etc, etc, malarkey, load of busybody, writer's codswallop.

    D&D 5E (2014) So,whats up with those half orcs?

Aasimar, Drow, Dwarf, Elf, Genasi, Gnome, Half-Orc, Human, Thri-Kreen.

Jeremy Crawford On The Dark Side of Developing 5E

Cool. that and Planescape are my favourites. I am of two minds about conversion documents, as 5th is so intuitively easy to convert.

Jeremy Crawford On The Dark Side of Developing 5E

Well, 4th Ed, obviously did not do well, for whatever reason, in whatever time.

D&D 5E (2014) Eldritch blast and hex as class features?

I am still not quite comfortable with the entire approach to the warlock starting with the 3rd Ed CA, the leather-clad, edgy, bolt-blasting boy, never thought of a warlock being that sort of thing.

    D&D 5E (2014) So,whats up with those half orcs?

Yeah, in my over 25+ years of DMing, one player in one campaign chose to be a half-orc, groovy character.

    D&D 5E (2014) What's your favorite uncommon magic item?

I was gonna say Heward's Handy Haversack, but I do not have the DMG yet, is it in 5th Ed?

D&D 5E (2014) What are the roles of paladin spells?

Yes, now that they have released the spell-less Ranger variant, should be easy to whip up a spell-less Paladin.

Dragonlance Would you allow Kender outside of Dragonlance?

Then Marak Kender (sombre kenders) of Taladas is a way to go. That setting was very innovative, ahead of its time (introduced kits).

    D&D 5E (2014) D&D Multiverse as setting - do you do it?

Right on, that sounds like one bad, mama-jama. I have always had a soft spot for Ralph Bakshi's film, Wizards, I like the idea of a campaign setting with faeries and mutants, magic and tanks.

    D&D 5E (2014) Things I like and dislike about 5e...

The communicartion is amazing compared to TSR. Back in 1990, they did not tell me the day-to-day plans of D&D, you just read about a product they will be releasing in however long an amount of time, or saw it on a shelf. What the hell did 3rd/4th Ed do to some of the fans of this game, come...

    D&D 5E (2014) "Jedi" type spells

Yeah, I have been tinkering with converting SWSE to 5th Ed, quite easy and instinctual, actually, 5th Ed is very conversion-friendly. Lightsaber, 2d8 radiant, Finesse, light, versatile (2d10).

    D&D 5E (2014) Blast From the Past - Earliest D&DN Panels

    Yeah, Monte mentioned "Expert" doors.

    D&D 5E (2014) Avenger in 4th to 5th

That's what I'm going with, nothing wrong with a bit of MAD, 4th Ed can get a bit, all I need for everything is this one score; you can't have your cake and Edith too.

Jeremy Crawford On The Dark Side of Developing 5E

I miss Roger E. Moore's musings, those were the days…aah…1991…
