D&D 4E Which 4E adventures did you play?

All the monsters from P1 have been updated to MM3 (ie latest errata) stats by Myrhdraak in his P1 conversion guide - here http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19921178/H1-H3:_Demon_Prince_of_Undeath_Conversion Ditto all the H1-3 P1-3 E1-3 adventures.

    ZEITGEIST Question about starting Zeitgeist

I guess so. I got a mixed up actually; I told the PCs he was visiting the Danoran Consulate to get a travel visa. I just assumed it was to go to Danor, but then I read the section on him in the module and it turns out he's just come from Danor and is on his way to Ber. (What's he doing in the...

    ZEITGEIST Question about starting Zeitgeist

The PCs have got their hand on the secretary's visitor log and Danoran immigration case file of one suspicious individual (Adventure 2 Act 1).

    Maps

I'll probably make any of these my players require as I run the module. Not the City level map of the two wee towns - that's totally unnecessary in my view and best left to the imagination; if you want one just google any generic D&D village and use it: they all have a tavern and smithy etc...

Starting 'To Slay A Dragon' using D&D Next playtest rules.

Just a note: Its a shame that I can't link players to your 'To Slay a Dragon' website because it is packed full of spoilers (ie the 'rumors' thread, and there is also a map of the lair). This is rather a shame really. The player-edited version of your trailer (which I did link to) tells its...

Starting 'To Slay A Dragon' using D&D Next playtest rules.

Well in that case Morrus I feel I should at least upload the player version of the area map, with GM spoilers removed.

Starting 'To Slay A Dragon' using D&D Next playtest rules.

Right - I have decided to give it a try - here: http://www.rpol.net/game.cgi?gi=57065&date=1378303746 I'll send a PM to Rune.

ZEITGEIST Suggestions for things to improve, fix, or add for the ZEITGEIST Act One compilation?

I agree wholeheartedly. With world detail, there is no obvious correct amount or obvious finishing point: you can fill ten pages, or one page, or ten million pages. What I would find annoying is new world setting information coming out over time requiring lots of extra reading. What I love is a...

Starting 'To Slay A Dragon' using D&D Next playtest rules.

Ok I'll let you know Morrus. Rune I'll send you a PM if this ever gets off the ground. I also posted in the WotC forums (which I generally avoid due to the excessive passions of the posters there) asking the playtesters if the D&DNext playtest rules were sufficiently robust and complete for...

Starting 'To Slay A Dragon' using D&D Next playtest rules.

The Zeitgeist adventure path by EN Publishing has so impressed me that I have decided to try running another one - the 'To Slay A Dragon' module using the D&D Next Playtest rules. I'll be running this online. I have posted an interest check at my preferred play-by-post check so I hope I can get...

D&D 4E JamesonCourage Is Starting A 4e Game; Looking For Pointers

The best skill challenge I ever ran was the very first encounter in a module by EN Publishing (you can download the free version herehttp://www.enworld.org/ap/zg01_island_4e_r1.pdf). The encounter is called Find the Dockers (Level 1 Skill Challenge). I recommend you take a look at that - the...

D&D 4E Which 4E adventures did you play?

The most recently-published adventures are so far superior to the early ones there is little or no comparison - Madness at Gardmore Abbey was a superb adventure and my players loved it. Reavers of Harkenwald was not as brilliant, but still better than most. The rest of them... The H-P-E modules...

    ZEITGEIST Question about starting Zeitgeist

Starfox, the story is always more important than the setting. Players might think they don't like Steampunk but trust me, when they play through these modules they will change their opinion. It's like saying 'I don't like the colour pink' and then you see the world's most amazing car and its...

    ZEITGEIST Question about starting Zeitgeist

I am expecting to reach adv 4 but play-by-post takes a lot longer than normal face-to-face, so I am confident that by the time the PCs reach adv 4 they will have totally forgotten.

It was a little homage. Thanks for writing up all your adventures.

    ZEITGEIST Question about starting Zeitgeist

As always our adventures can be viewed here: http://www.rpol.net/game.cgi?gi=54669&date=1377615653 I made some handouts for my players for adventure 2. Some of these are based on another GMs party...
