Definitely spellcasting, to remember the spells effects and to use them efficiently I find really difficult. I tend to strip out all but the key spells and like @Zaukrie list them as abilities

I hate them, but appreciate they are a necessary evil, I will own one until it barely functions then reluctantly buy the model I believe offers the best value. I'm currently on my third phone which is coming up to 3 years old

I don't mind the identify monster issue so much, its not something my players regular use and when we played 5e it cost a standard action, so in PF2e when it gets used it doesn't seem too much of a penalty, and gives the DM a bit more of a chance to drop in some lore on the creature I do agree...

Hmmmm I'm not sure that no rule is a better solution than using an action, in the 5e games I've played in the DM has insisted its an action (obviously with exceptions), which i think is a fair shout.

Is it more complex than 5e? Without doubt. Is it overly complex? Well that's in the eye of the beholder (wotc trademarks apply 😉) I love pf2e and it's my go to game but there are areas I find over fiddly, and the rules rely on a breadcrumb approach which often makes things more complex than...

Received mine yesterday, I think it's fantastic the best wizards 5e adventure book I own (I don't have curse of strahd) I'm in two minds if I should run it, as I'm quite a way off finishing my current campaign and there are so many good ideas in RIME that I could lift and shift into it...

I personally think the beauty of these books is they are to a degree system/edition agnostic, sure there will be a percentage of the book that is crunch that relates to pf2e, but I'd be surprised if it's more than 25% I appreciate the bestiary section of this book will be a miss for those...

While tidying up my loft I stumbled across a game I can't even remember buying, freedom fighters by fantasy games unlimited. Now I'm guessing I stuck it in the lift for a reason, but I never remember playing it, has anyone here experience of the game? Is it ok or a total dud?

It's not the power creep, I'm sure there are more powerful combinations in this book, but to me they don't stand out. It's more the appeal of something new and the range of options it brings, I don't think my players were sold on the archetypes system until they saw the options available

I have massive problems with the APG, all of my players having seen the goodies contained within it now want to change their characters!
