Level Up (A5E) Races from the Multiverse book

No, that sounds about right. This is exactly what we mean by the game being backward-compatible! And I address this very point in my guide on the topic. https://www.enworld.org/threads/xethreaus-unofficial-a5e-backward-compatibility-guide.687153/

Level Up (A5E) Getting Started With Level Up

Yeah, I'm a big fan of this approach. Introduce a few A5e elements at a time (origins, new class, monsters, spells, journies, etc.) and before you know it you'll be running the full A5e system.

Level Up (A5E) How compatible are splat book spells

Game balance by the inclusion of sourcebooks is not a consideration with the term "compatibility." That said, yes, a lot of WotC spells are overpowered because that is the model they work with. (Power creep incentivizes new purchases, much like we see with Magic the Gathering.) But in terms of...

    Level Up (A5E) Compatibility Question

https://www.enworld.org/threads/xethreaus-unofficial-a5e-backward-compatibility-guide.687153/ Yes, monk/adept experience very few conversion issues. The race question is a little more tricky but it can be done and done well.

Level Up (A5E) Berserker too strong?

At level five, players get access to either third level spells or extra attack, which vastly increases your power overall. There's a part of me that wonders whether the power boost the player feels is because of switching from barbarian to berserker, or from reaching fifth level.

Homebrew Voidrunner's Codex Scientist Homebrew: The Dread Reanimator

I love it! It reminds me of the zombie-like enemies in Mass Effect!

    Level Up (A5E) Party Strongholds

The important thing to consider is that the gold price is balanced against magic items of equal price, so 5 characters each getting a stronghold feat at 1/5 the price individually is way off-balance. As Morrus said, I would have each player own a portion of a stronghold on paper, but in gameplay...

Level Up (A5E) Hard Walled by Queen Bee Berserker Build Idea

For further inspiration, I would also suggest the spiked chain and/or estoc (two-handed rapier).

Level Up (A5E) Xethreau's Unofficial A5e Backward Compatibility Guide

This is a guide for porting in O5e rules and characters for use with A5e. When we talk about Level Up: Advanced Fifth Edition (A5e) and "compatibility" with original Fifth Edition (O5e), there has been a considerable amount of confusion. What is advertised about A5e is that it is "fully...

Level Up (A5E) If Eberron was converted to A5e, would the Dragonmarks be heritage specific gifts?

Strong agree. And, someone on the fan discord has done a really great job of doing that conversion. I'm a huge fan of Eberron, and this exact question has been on my mind a lot. But, the only legal way to make that conversion would be through a fan creation. The DMs Guild license is...

Level Up (A5E) A5e Character Sheet for Google Docs (UNNOFICIAL)

Hi friends, Happy St. Patric's Day and happy A5e SRD release day! I wanted to share with you a document I made that came out of my home A5e game. It's a digital character sheet for 5e using Google Docs. It uses a layout similar to monsters and pre-gens, but it has some added functionality for...

Level Up (A5E) What was taken away from each a5e class?

It is worth noting that A5e warlocks gain invocations to compensate, allowing you either to learn a spell per arcanum OR chose another powerful ability. Clever warlocks of high level will also train away lower-level invocations to gain all the powerful ones.

    Level Up (A5E) Swordmage/ Magus

Such documentation is not publicly available. That said, if the build of the class is similar to herald I would use it as a baseline for when to do social, combat, exploration pillar features. Even so, I would imagine you have a lot of freedom to create a blend that feels "right."

Official News Level Up System Reference Documents

While I can't offer legal advice, it is my observation that people do add their own copyright information at the end of their OGL disclosure. This is beneficial since it allows other people to cite you in the way you like to be cited.

Level Up (A5E) Vampersan's Rules Inquiry Thread

I wrote that invocation. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't apply to spell scrolls. Its a highly conditional benefit, so I say reap the benefit. If anybody deserves to exploit loopholes in the rules, its the warlock who takes this invocation.
