    D&D 5E (2014) ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

Yes, thank you for your hard work, ForgedAnvil, your sheet has made it easy for my wife and I to enjoy our games. I hope that your hard work can continue in the future, having XGtE would be the icing on the cake too! Thank you and good luck!

Future Books like VGTM and MTOF?

I don't see them using Trapspring for dungeons. I haven't read all the Dragonlance books or played all the modules but so far, and other than Xak Tsaroth, I'm not aware of many dungeons on Krynn, but Krynn has dragons which is why I thought he'd be good for a dragon book. Just my opinion...

Future Books like VGTM and MTOF?

I like this idea. They can bring back Van Richten's Guide books and expand the Ravenloft setting. You know who would do good for dragons? Uncle Trapspringer!!

Trudvang Chronicles - Stormlands Kickstarter is Live!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1256540796/trudvang-chronicles-stormlands For those who were waiting for a source book to Trudvang Chronicles, wait no more (well you will still have to wait for shipping but at least you have a better idea of when). Also includes the Snowsaga campaign and...

RPG Crowdfunding News 082: Trinity Continuum: Aeon RPG, The Hidden Halls of Hazakor, Ultimate NPCs:

Can anyone comment on the Cthulhu Soundscapes? I've got a Syrinscape subscription with some Cthulhu-inspired sounds and lots of other sounds I can use, just curious if anyone has Volume 1 and can comment on quality and if anyone can compare it to Syrinscape.

    D&D 5E (2014) Taking 20 Compares the Cost of Playing 5E with Roll 20 & Fantasy Grounds

I'm happy with my choice to purchase the Ultimate license instead of subbing for Fantasy Grounds, cheaper in the long run for sure. Good video, thanks for sharing!

    D&D 5E (2014) What D&D Beyond should have been.

I'm pretty confident that D&D Beyond has a contract with WotC. This subject has been discussed ad nauseam on here, reddit, and pretty much any forum where people talk about D&D. You can want what you want but things aren't changing anytime soon. The sales pretty much confirm that what they are...

    D&D 5E (2014) What D&D Beyond should have been.

You realize that D&D Beyond is not owned by WotC right? It's a separate company who has licensed the D&D content from WotC, much like Fantasy Ground. WotC is promoting D&D Beyond because the more sales it makes then the more the D&D brand is worth.

All aboard! Last stop for the Horror on the Orient Express

https://www.chaosium.com/blog/horror-on-the-orient-express-the-journey-is-about-end/ Looks like Chaosium will not be reprinting this box set once stock runs out, and stock is apparently getting low. So if you've been wanting to hear the clickity-clack of the tracks as you travel from Paris...

    Trudvang vs Symbaroum

Good day! I'm looking to branch out from my D&D game and high fantasy and looking for something a little more dark and gritty. I've read that both of these games/settings are dark and gritty, and I like the Scandinavian influence on both, very drawn to the art and settings. So I'm having...

Crawford: Bard's College of Glamour is a Fabulous Pop Star!

Pop star you say? I want to play a Ruby Rhod character then.

    D&D 5E (2014) What platform to play 5E Online?

Hello. I don't believe that Fantasy Grounds is overly difficult to use, at least I didn't find it that way. The DM functions are more complex than the player functions but overall to run a game I do not think it takes much extra effort. Lots of people use Photoshop/GIMP to create their maps and...

D&D 5E (2014) Tomb of Annihilation on Amazon - why so expensive?

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, eh? It's too bad a company can't handle a little negative criticism or even just having someone mention the truth. I've heard on reddit that the mods will delete posts critical of Roll20 as well (on the Roll20 sub anyways), so it's not surprising...

Tomb of Annihilation Is Here - What Do You Think?

Personally I think it works well. I didn't find it overly difficult to learn as a player, while it was a bit more work to learn as a DM I don't feel it was more than any other tool. There are lots of tutorial videos on YouTube you can check out. There are official ones by Smite Works that work...

Tomb of Annihilation Is Here - What Do You Think?

Good point, I usually see that leaked ahead of time from someone who got their copy early, but not yet. Likely over the next few days I suspect.

Loving the new prices on Fantasy Grounds; only $28 in Canada on Steam, how can I not pick this one up? :D

    D&D Movie/TV D&D Movie Plot Revealed

Actually I think The Gamers did something like this. Or maybe it was not that one but something by Zombie Orpheus but I'm sure I watched something like that on YouTube before. Though I would very much love a well-done movie set in the Dragonlance world. Such an epic world, my favourite D&D...

    D&D Movie/TV D&D Movie Plot Revealed

I really liked Stranger Things and I'm looking forward to it more than any other TV/show movie this year, but for me I get more of a Call of Cthulhu vibe from the show than I do D&D. There's less head-on battles and more figuring out what's going on and trying to outsmart the monster.

D&D 5E (2014) Adventures in Middle-earth - Eaves of Mirkwood and LM Screen

Time for another supplement to Adventures in Middle-earth. This time you get an introductory adventure (no, not Elves of Mirkwood, it really is Eaves), a Loremaster's screen, pre-gens for the adventure, and some optional rules...
