Story-wise, I found this one as weak or weaker than the first episode. The first episode had fantastic interplay between Sam Waterston and Judy Davis, though, and for me that made the first episode enjoyable. The 2nd episode didn't give Terry O'Quinn much material to work with.

I was quite pleased with the fight at the Ministry of Magic. It was the best magic-combat I've ever seen in a movie. The rest of the movie was quite good too. It's too bad that they had to cut stuff out, but the movie was 2:10 as it was.

Having a young child (almost 3.5 years old) makes it hard to get to the movies. As much as I want to see it ASAP, it'll most likely wind up being a DVD movie for us.

I had also heard it would be a 2 hour finale, but everything I can see schedule-wise says that it's one episode (62 minutes).

Considering that the shows won't be aired until a hiatus, and the S1 dvd comes out in late August/early September, they wouldn't be part of the S1 dvd.

September, usually. Great episode, great end of the season. I'm rilly sorry to see Johnston die though. I loved Gerald McRaney in that role. :( I've been complaining all along about lack of access to the outside world...looks like that's about to change. Wow.
