I didn't watch the first movie, since I thought it looked rather bad, an opinion confirmed by reviews and friends who did watch it.

But this one... WOW.

Even if this movie turns out to be crap, watching the Surfer soar through the screen will be worth the ticket price alone.

Is it me, or does the quality of the movies seem to be rising now that Marvel is making them themselves... this Surfer movie... casting Ed Norton to play Hulk... casting Robert Downey to play Iron Man... just a lot of really good choices.
