    WotBS In Pathfinder 1st ed

Well, just break the rules. She's done a bunch of rituals, and is channeling power from many followers, and has pacts with Hell, and her veins flow with the blood of a divine eagle. Hell, why even worry about a statblock? Just decide what spells you want her to be able to cast, and say that she...

I want to be able to buy my kid an Underdark playset

I need to draw what I'd like to see, I suppose. A bit of this. A bit of that. Probably a little this too. And do it at this scale.

Spelljammer Planetar, solar, . . . what other 'celestial-object-plus-ar' could we make angels out of?

Lunar seems obvious. Quasar? Stellar just seems like another version of solar. Cometar? Nebular? Novar? Supernovar? Metear? Meteorar? And what sort of space object is an Aasim?

I want to be able to buy my kid an Underdark playset

Aren't those, like, $10 for a 2 inch by 2 inch piece or something? If this He-Man thing is like $80 for the whole kit: Masters Of the Universe Origins Playset Snake Mountain With 2 Figures Then maybe something with more detail and different components might go for $100 or $200?

I want to be able to buy my kid an Underdark playset

I don't have a kid yet, but well, my wife and I were checking out an exhibit at Atlanta's High Museum of Art on Beatrix Potter: (Really great exhibit, by the way. That woman was a virtuoso.) In one little corner of the exhibit was a photo someone had sent her of a doll house they had made for...

D&D General Baldur's Gate has great companion character arcs. Are such things possible or even desirable in published adventure paths?

(Very mild spoilers for BG3.) I just finished BG3 last night, and (aside from the very ending which needs a fuller epilogue), the game has some really stand-out character arcs for the various companion NPCs. If you go the route most players do, you'll design your own character, and along the...

    D&D 5E (2024) Playtest 8: Cantrips

Eh, does the school of a cantrip even actually matter? I know they want a cantrip of each school, so "make me enchanting" works for me.

    D&D 5E (2024) Playtest 8: Cantrips

I would retool Friends so it enhances you with an instinct of how to be persuasive, rather than messing with the mind of the target you're persuading. Now there's no reason for the person you're persuading to be upset. It's more like you're taking a self-help course, rather than, I dunno...

LFP [Paid] The War of the Burning Sky -- Full campaign, novice to experienced players welcome

Hi, I wrote the campaign. I'll try to answer without providing any real spoilers. The word trillith has an in-universe origin (meaning something like 'related to Trilla,' with Trilla being a name), but like so many things in RPGs, the real-world origin is weird. In 2001 or so, EN World...

WotBS Dying To Reach The Scourge Prison

It does nothing. I don't even think it counts against his listed number of feats.

ZEITGEIST The Flint Irregulars, whose portraits you may have seen

I should have been keeping records of how each group handled the four fey titans. Surprisingly few fought them, from what I recall.

ZEITGEIST The Flint Irregulars, whose portraits you may have seen

Neat. How transparent were the clock mechanics to the PCs? I recall when writing and editing adventures 10 and 11, I wanted to keep the pressure up somehow, but I kinda didn't have any robust way to guarantee that, since player options vary so much at epic level. Luckily I think most GMs who...
