    Ok, dropped to 2 attacks/rd and made scimitar thus: Scorching Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (3d10 + 7) slashing damage plus 13 (3d8) fire damage.

    all those ( Proficiency in DEX, CON saves and Perception skill plus blindsight 10 ft., darkvision 60 ft. senses.) sound fine. Could question how a diurnal dragonfly has darkvision but not fussed really

    Yeah my impression is that it is a great curved blade - so considering it more like a curved greatsword. At the moment, max average damage is 108. I'd maybe nudge the blade's additional fire damage down a bit to (say) 9 (2d8) UPDATE: on thinking about it, I've nudged down and aligned fire...

    Anyway, back to the efreet - CR 19 critter should be doing around 120 damage/rd, so divided by 3 attacks yields each attack averaging 40 damage I guess. So: Scorching Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (4d6 + 7) slashing damage plus 14 (4d6) fire...
