    Will AI replace Dungeon Masters?

Honestly I'd rather have AI players. At least then they might bother to read the rules or jot a note down. "Computer make player two 24% less murder hobo and increase pop culture quotes by 13%"

    ALIEN RPG Launches New Kickstarter

I skipped this the first time as I know I would never have time to play it....but backed it this time even though I know I will never have time to play it.

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

I don't use gnomes.... Should be a poll options.

What makes a TTRPG purchase "worth it" to you?

I've gotten much better about reading reviews and waiting to see what the public thinks. Not that I trust most of you. But I can read what you write and then see if something makes an informed opinion.

D&D General What do you want out of your D&D/RPG games?

Yeah I don't want constant RP, some but not all the time. But I'm old. I want entertainment, I want to have meaningful choice as a player. and I want it to be a game. By game I mean one that I can lose.

    Choosing a new campaign

My last campaign ran for 130 sessions and all homebrew adventures in a sandbox. I keep the prep for the second campaign going to avoid writers block. With the added benefit that I have a new sandbox ready when the old one ends. But also world building and prepping is something I really enjoy...

    Choosing a new campaign

To keep burnout at bay when I am running a campaign I am always working on a second and sometimes third campaign. Helps to have two creative outlets. And then I have something I'm prepared for and excited about when I start a new campaign.

What Does Your Dream VTT Do/Look Like?

I started VTT using Maptools so I got spoiled as it was actually decent at making maps. It did a lot of things right and was 100% free. The hard part was hosting a game and getting everyone logged on. Roll20 made that part easy and thus rose to the top.

D&D General What Campaign Would Appeal the Most?

If there are three options and only one is a sandbox I'm always going to pick the sandbox.

Wizards of the Coast Is Sunsetting Sigil's Active Development

It's a great idea. Which is why they keep going back to the well. Maybe someday someone will figure out how to make it work. They should open it up for third party to build modules and mods. Someone out there would do the work to build Castle Ravenloft in it.

Tipping in Great Britain (or more specifically, England).

I'm 'Merican and I have never seen tipping for a retail purchase. Only in food or on a service like a haircut, valet, taxi/rideshare, ect. But also tipping culture is getting weird.

Project Sigil 90% Of D&D’s Project Sigil Team Laid Off

I honestly assumed my 10 year old laptop wouldn't run it and as it was probably wasn't finished yet anyway so I should just wait a few months till they worked out the kinks. I'm not a marketing guru but maybe launching it with a full 5.24 adventure to show off the system and get people to try...

Project Sigil 90% Of D&D’s Project Sigil Team Laid Off

Seems like a weird time to fire 90% of your staff just weeks after launch but I'm not really sure how the video game/programing industry works.

How and why do you solo play?

I appreciate a solo combat exercise to learn the combat rules. Not an adventure just here is how combat works practice a couple of times so you don't get killed in the game.

What Published Modules Have You Run or Played Multiple Times?

I've played 1e Tomb of Horror multiple times as a kid in the 80s and once as an adult in the 2010s. in the 80s I ran UK2 The Sentinel multiple times as it was the first module I owned. I have about 10 homebrew location based adventures I slot into any new homebrew campaign. Part of a good...

Shadowdark RPG—The Western Reaches: An Interview with Kelsey Dionne

I didn't think I needed Shadowdark, but with 5.24e being even more high magic and cool powers than 5e I needed something more grounded. It can be hard to get people to play B/X so I'm hoping Shadowdark is my ticket. I day it every Shadowdark post, but I wish they had a players book with all...

Is There Possibility of a PF1.5 or a 3.5 Revival? Whether Directly or Something With Similar 'Ethos'

I think 3.5 will come around as people get nostalgic. Eventualy we will see some 3.5 clones I'm sure.

Neverending "Yes ... And" Feedback Loops in Mysteries

We had a mode called "Fast Shadowrun" The investigation would enter a "montage" of the GM giving info and overview of the investigation with some dice rolls. The GM would throw out some "red herring" on bad rolls, but those just slowed down or took resources. " the bartender story about bug...
