Level Up (A5E) Core Rulebook is missing?

The LevelUp equivalent of the Player's Handbook can be found here... https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/376471/level-up-adventurer-s-guide-a5e

D&D 5E (2024) Which Setting Featured Already in 5E Do You Want a New Supplement For?

Yeah, it's sort of a twisted path. When Half-Giants were adapted for 3e they were given psionics because Darksun, so it was natural to plop them in Sarlona. When Darksun was revised Half-Giants were deemed Goliaths. Now, Goliaths are mini-versions of the standard giants who live in Xen'drik. o_O...

D&D 5E (2024) Which Setting Featured Already in 5E Do You Want a New Supplement For?

I'd like a return to Eberron in the slipcase format. Book one would be a mechanical tune-up for things like dragonmarks, species options, and the Artificer; maybe a revisit to Stormreach to bring in the history of the new mini-giant Goliaths. Book two would be a Eberron monster guide. Book three...

D&D General Build the "Definitive Pantheon"

That's a side effect of 4e's alignment system. Law is ++Good and Chaos is ++Ungood.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Warlock"

The example they gave was adding Repelling Blast to Ray of Frost so that you could knock back and slow an opponent at the same time.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Warlock"

I was pleasantly surprised that damage cantrip boosting invocations can be applied to more than Eldritch Blast. I hope chain familiar options will continue to be expanded in the Everything books. Some more Fey and Celestials would be nice. I'd really like to see the return of the Eyeball...

    D&D General Gnome Paladins

I played an Oath of the Ancients Forest Gnome Paladin. Seemed completely on brand to me. 🤷

    D&D 5E (2024) Youtube Reveal: Tieflings

Only a slight loosening on the uniformity of appearance, but they all still look like variations on a sports mascot devil. I like the mechanics of the Cthonic legacy.

    D&D 5E (2024) What's the future of Xanathar and Tasha? (+)

I think they'll spread the other Wizard subs over at least two sources books. It's the class they've had the hardest time coming up with subclasses for.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Video Reveals, Week of 6/24!

I would assume Bard, Cleric, Monk and Sorcerer the following week, with no video on the 4th.

D&D 5E (2024) PHB 2024 Creature Reveal: Sphinx of Wonder

That's good to hear. Outside of Fiend and Fey, Chainlocks didn't have any good thematic options.

D&D 5E (2014) All playable animalistic beings in 5e - wotc and third party

The Blue Rose Adventures Guide has the Rhydan (non-humanoid psychic animals). There's a template to create them from any beast up to a certain CR, but the premade ones are Rhy-cat, Rhy-wolf, Rhy-horse, and Rhy-fen (dolphin).

    D&D 5E (2024) The 2014 vs 2024 PHB Compatibility Thread

I wonder if Tasha's Bubbling Cauldron is specifically called out as a Artificer spell in her preview material? 🤔

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal: Feats/Backgrounds/Species

Honestly, I think they saw the reaction to the backgrounds in that original UA and realized there would be a sizable part of the playerbase that wouldn't grock that they were just examples, no matter how much they called attention to it. So they made them a little more flexible, and made new...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal #1: "Everything You Need To Know!"

I guess that's tacit confirmation that the Swashbuckler didn't make it.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal #1: "Everything You Need To Know!"

They didn't mention a specific CR cut off, but they did say in the video that they ran out of room to include high level forms, so eventually a higher level Moon Druid is going to have to go snooping in the MM.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook Reveal #1: "Everything You Need To Know!"

Unfortunately, that's been off the table since the stalking horse version of templates in the first Druid UA. I'm disappointed that high level Druids are still going to have to scrape the MM for high level forms. :(

D&D General Lowest level of magic that still "feels like D&D"

Where do you think you can cap magic and still have a game that feels like a D&D world? My intuition says 5th level magic, beyond that seems more of the same, but more powerful. Any thoughts?
