Thanks. I need to learn these things, so I can become an uber-geek and do them myself. B-) I'm not after extra damage, but I figured that if a monster falls into a pit or starts to sink in molten liquid, they have to climb out to avoid taking fire damage every round.:devil:

I was wondering about naive too, but the creature is definatly an elemental. I checked the SRD and it says you can only have native outsiders. Elemental sounds spot on to me. It sounds like they have a burrow speed and some sort of "rockvision" that allows them to see through solid ground. I...

Is this something that is replacing the Affect Normal Fires spell like ability? I'm a little lost. Isn't elemental fire treated as a heavy gas or a liquid? Wouldn't a character who fails to move, find that the ground gives way below him and he drops into a pit (of fire)?

This is partially wrong. The corpse does not need to be transported to Limbo, because it isn't possible to encounter the arucha outside of Limbo - they are trapped there until they kill someone and steal their form. This is different from the original 2e arucha. The 2e arucha used to steal...

I've been busy for a bit, but everything everyone has done seems good. That is good. Should we cut it down, so they only see aura's of spellcasters? Then we could instinctively make them go for anyone who "glows" and they wouldn't run after magic swords.

Is there any chance we can get a breakdown on the number of Jakandor creatures at some point soon? Now there is a Converting Creatures from Other Campaign Settings that is converting them, I'd love to see how things are progressing. (Are they currently folded into "Generic 2nd edition"?)

Sounds logical. The first sentence would go. The "slam attack" would switch to "breath weapon". I'd guess that the DC would not vary, so that sentence could switch to a fixed one. The rest would seem to be fine. Would you want to rename this to "Ignite (Ex)"?
