I'm not going to boycott the first week, but then again, I'm not going to fight through crowds to see it either. So it will probably be just about a week before I see it.
I finally got around to Spiderman last night, and being able to find parking definitely made the wait worthwile.
Here is a link to the WotC boards which has a reply from the Sage:

Again, this method doesn't seem to work for a lot of deities.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: What would you assign as the ECL of a Quasi-diety?
There are two deities who don't have class levels that I can think of immediately: Bahamut & Tiamat. Both of them are just listed as dragons with Lesser Deity status
I just wonder how the person who wrote this justified someone "forgetting" they had a laser rifle?
This wand-like thingy I've been carrying around? Hmmm, I really don't know what it is or how to use it - Wait! I remember now, it's a laser rifle!
Re: Re: Re: Re: What would you assign as the ECL of a Quasi-diety?
What he is after is the increase in ECL from being a quasi-diety, not from the levels. Just as the half-dragon template is worth +4, how many pluses is the quasi-deity template. (And yes, I know it isn't technically stated out...
I have no idea about Black Sabbath, but I'm pretty sure that Gary got the idea for the prismatic spray spell from Dying Earth (since I believe it was published before AD&D), not the other way around.
Bah! I'm going to buy it regardless of Psion's review. (Although I will be interested in reading it, especially as he will probably get the book before I do.)
True, but an extra feat or two takes up much less space than a whole monster which would at least be a page. Besides, I thought that WotC version of Chain spell was slightly different than the Relics & Rituals version and thus not a use of OGC. BTW, which book did WotC put Hide Spell in?
Actually, this is what I find disappointing if it is true. Despite the cuts that WotC has suffered they should be more than capable of converting old monsters and creating new ones by themselves. I don't really like the fact that they're going to grab monsters from other d20 monster books...
Legions of Hell was universally well recieved, and Armies of the Abyss is very eagerly anticipated by most of us. Are there any plans to do monster supplements for other planes, such as celestials, creatures of Law or Chaos, or even Yugoloths?
