I'm currently reading "Naked Empire" by Terry Goodkind. It's the eighth book in the Sword of Truth series. The series is really good, but I'm not sure how much of an inspiration it would be. Some of the elements seem rather difficult to translate to D&D.

Lets say you have a 10th level fighter with TWF and improved TWF using 2 shortswords. When he fulls attacks (not factoring strength, magic weapons, or feats in), does he hit at: good hand: +8/+3 off hand: +8/+3 or something else?
