Other suggestions for improvement I have are changeing the colour of an unknown section so that it is different to a wall section. Both are black so its not obvious when you come to a wall, it might just be the end of your vision. Also a larger scale would be nice as an option. If I were using...

i really haven't got very far into this at all yet, BUT... I just wanted to pipe up and say what I've seen so far (the first tutorial only and a bit of random exploring) it looks excellent. I'm looking forward to checking it out further when time permits and hopefully running a game with it...
