Over 1,500 Publishers Support Paizo's Upcoming Open RPG Creator's License

Nice to see Pelgrane Press on that list too. But then again, 13th Age is one of the great d20 games that was threatened by the OGLpocalypse.

WotC Talks OGL... Again! Draft Coming Jan 20th With Feedback Survey; v1 De-Auth Still On

And the Open-Source software community has a bit of reason to be wary since a ruling that older open licenses can be revoked...would devastate the Open-Source community.

I vaguely remember Eric Noah but I wasn't a poster until much more recently.

    A For The Queen Review

I've always said this game is an excellent way to introduce people to roleplaying, especially the style where players have more input in building the world and narrative.

    Warhammer 40k cinematic universe confirmed.

Jeff Bezos was the 5th Chaos God all along. And Henry Cavill is his herald!

    Single-nation Fantasy settings?

The Empire of the Shattered Isles in which Blades in the Dark is set is  almost a single-nation setting, except that the distant demi-human nation of Tycheros does exist and has some interactions with the Empire (and in my campaign, a short war). But since player characters are confined to...

    Best/Favorite Thin RPG Core Book

BLACKOUT by Erika Chappel is a lean 80-page PbtA game focused on the women of Civil Defence during the London Blitz. It does what it does pretty well within that particular scope, complete with escalating drama and consequences during firefighting and rescue operations...

Kevin Siembieda managed to produce successful RPGs based on the Robotech cartoon, as well as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book... (Taken from this hilarious zine) https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/263774

The TOO MUCH SETTING issue (SPIRE reviewed by SU&SD)

Amen! Come to think of it, I played in a very successful Eclipse Phase campaign that would not have worked if the majority of us weren't deeply immersed into how the world works...

The TOO MUCH SETTING issue (SPIRE reviewed by SU&SD)

Oh, it's a pretty positive review, he just felt he bit off more than he could chew by not restricting his campaign, and in fact he does recommend focusing the campaign on just one floor of Spire if you're starting out. 😀

The TOO MUCH SETTING issue (SPIRE reviewed by SU&SD)

Recently, one of my favourite board game review channels, Shut Up & Sit Down, did a cracking review of SPIRE by Rowan, Rook and Decard. Now, reviewer Quinns pointed out that while SPIRE has a terrific campaign concept, the sheer amount of lore and setting that players are expected to know...

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

I'd think, with all the heat on Twitch over the recent white supremacist terrorist stream, Twitter should be feeling pressure to care about people posting pro-terrorist material. Elon Musk has not finalised his purchase yet.
