But there is a big difference between giving the reds a bonus that means 2 more feats and 8 more skill points and giving them 1 more feat and 4 skill points.
It is an adapted form of d20 Modern.
The racial write ups have the red martians getting the human skill points and feat package and the rest have the opposite. So that means a first level red will have 8 more points than a first level white (of equal INT)?
Why do grey martians have the skill point penalty? Aren't they the smart...
Goodman and Bastion published good books on fey, so I wouldn't see any point in buying another.
For creature books, a combination of plants, vermin, animals and oozes.
For races, some new ones based on plants, vermin and magical beasts.
Their sweat has been altered to dissolve a certain substance (silver, hair, paper, whatever).
They are carriers of a disease that weakens, but doesn't kill. A bad cold?
Their skin/hair/eyes change color daily.
Their aura (or odor) freaks animals and small children.
Their skin is now made up of...
I bought them and regret it- 99% of the creatures are pointless (gold centipede with silly name, giantish centipede with silly name, plus 4 other centipedes just in the first one.)
The rest are only mildly interesting and I can't think of a single one at the moment.
How about really impulsive- someone who doesn't do any thinking before acting. Being a thief, that means he probably is a klepto, possible to the point of a kender.
If you haven't bought them yet, I strongly suggest getting the PODs. There is enough material that the price is well worth it and you can read it if the power goes out ;)
They can be either magic or technology with examples of each. Some random examples- goggles that allow the use of identify, detect secret doors, and see invisibility; mechanical clock; astronomic telescope; wings for individual flight and a mechanical firefly the size of a small dog.
No, the...
One I am currently rereading is Atlas' Splintered Peace. Not for everyone, it covers the issue of racism and the mechanics can be extended to other social issues.
Mechamancy items are created by spellcasters and can be used by anyone.
FS devices can only be used by the creator (and other technologists who invest xp and a lot of time to master new devices beyond their given allotment). They are also not magic per se and magic can be used to make them fail.
A couple more:
Adamant's Miracles and Wonders makes divine magic interesting and different.
Tangent's Ars Lingua adds a lot to the use of communication.
Ones that have not been mentioned:
Genjitsu's Shaping the Self- leveled templates done right. I also find the racial levels much more interesting than those in UA.
En Publishing's The Fantastic Science gets so little love for being the very best in the subject.
Primal Urge's Emerging Forms...

Second place would have to be the one on the ethics of consuming souls: http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=114315
I would say yes- each adds to the sahuagen and their deepsea rivals (the eel people mentioned in SD). The second one is centered around a monster I asked the people here to convert and is in the CC in 3.5- the apodalypse.
