I'm shocked that Palanthas from Dragonlance isn't on this list! That's my vote. It's the jewel of Solamnia. However, its brightness is besmirched by the Tower of High Sorcery of Palanthas,and its infamous Shoikan Grove.

I will definitely be getting the regular cover on this one. It feels more like classic D&D chromatic dragons.

It was kind of them to release that on my birthday. Looks like I'm getting a nifty present this year. I hope it works well with Dragonlance.

Pathfinder 1e!

My 2nd favorite is 2nd edition. It was the edition I started with. Plus it was ripe with creativity! I know the various settings weren't a financially sound plan, but they were creatively awesome. Plus there were tons of novels.

For me, it's familiarity and what I like. However, it's also about the lore and settings. I am a huge fan of D&D's settings and the lore that goes with them. In particular, Dragonlance.

No, they used regular goblins with psionic abilities.

Malhavoc Press did that first with the Magister class from Arcana Unearthed. I was a huge fan back in the day.

Well now that just makes sense! I thought the goal was to overthink things and not use simple obvious solutions. ;) Seriously, though, that's a good, simple solution.

The new Monster Manual has a githzerai psion and a thri-kreen psion, both of whom are Int-based casters. I'm really glad to see the old psion name in use again. But I have to ask... Where the hell is my psion class or subclass?!? I get it, the aberrant mind is supposed to be the psion...

Are sidekicks included?

What sort of stat blocks do they have for the thri-kreen?

I would be curious to know what thri-kreen options are in the book.
