Gargantuan Orcus out in March per Amazon

Yeah, I spotted that - Large size, but stands 15' tall according to the description, which is a bit strange. Either way, it's a stretch ( ;) ) to get him up to gargantuan.

Gargantuan Orcus out in March per Amazon

According to Fiendish Codex 1, Orcus is Large. My guess is that Orcus just forms a part of the set, of which there is likely to be one gargantuan figure (not Orcus). But, of course, you never know

What to do with all those 3e adventures?

I'd say play 3.5 and update the adventures you have. Revising the modules isn't that hard as, for the most part, the changes you'll need to implement aren't that major. You just need to check the monsters, especially for CRs (for example, ogres went up from CR2 in 3.0 to CR3 in 3.5). But it's...

    D&D minis questions

Oh, and I nearly forgot, but you might want to take a look at Vesivus, where you can sort minis into all sorts of categories, including by faction :)

    D&D minis questions

Yes, creating a list in excel is easy. Go to the master list page and highlight and copy everything in the table, open excel and select Edit -> Paste Special. Select text and click ok - and everything should be pasted neatly into rows and columns. Just add a new column on the end called Total...

Do your players have the most incredible luck at the key moments?

Yeah, it can happen. Luckiest moment of the campaign so far is when the characters encountered a blue wyrmling in a 10-ft corridor. Several members of the party were already unconscious from the first breath weapon and the others were all injured. The next round it was going to breath again...

Unearthed Arcana - Which rules do you use regularly?

I added the rule that action points don't stack when they level - so any they have left over they lose (so they start every level with a total of 5+half-level). It's rare for them not to have used their APs when they level up.

Unearthed Arcana - Which rules do you use regularly?

We use a few of the variant rules, including Action Points, Character Traits, Reputation, class variants (some, not all), Paragon Classes. On whole they work pretty well. Action Points have become pretty essential to our game and we all like them. Character Traits work work most of the...

What is your local game store situation?

I have three in my local area and regularly visit two of them. However, while I do make the occasional purchase (well, enough to get freebies back at both store with my reward cards) I make the bulk of my purchases online - and primarily from Amazon - as it is much cheaper. As much as I'd love...

Would you buy a hardcopy Tome of Horrors 3.5?

I printed out my copy of Tome of Horrors 3.5 on nice quality paper, plus printed out the cover full color on card and then had it bound :) So, I already have a hardcopy. I must admit, however, if it was released, I'd almost certainly pick up a copy nonetheless.

Your thoughts on Adventures for 3rd Ed

To be honest, when I started this thread I hadn't actually considered Dragon Magazine adventures. I always bought the mag on a causual basis (due to storage restrictions) when there was an adventure I fancied. I'd certainly be interested to hear what one-off adventures from Dungeon are highly...

Your thoughts on Adventures for 3rd Ed

No - any adventure you want to mention :) No reason to only stick to WotC!

Your thoughts on Adventures for 3rd Ed

It doesn't matter - I just edited the post title so people can include 3rd edition adventures too :) No reason to restrict it since they're not actually different editions! So City of the Spider Queen is a fine choice!

Your thoughts on Adventures for 3rd Ed

I'm a bit of a sucker for adventures, so the recent glut of releases from WotC has kept me busy. I buy the generic and FR adventures, but not the Eberron ones. So I was wondering what other people here thought of the general quality of the adventures being released for 3.5? And by quality, I...

    Undermountain maps - yeck!!

I just got my copy through the post today and these are in fact what's in the final product. I tend to agree that the quality of many of the maps is disappointing (especially the dungeon level maps), with some very simple photoshop techniques that pretty much anyone could do. The only...

Conventions -- Why do you go?

For the games, the competition, a chance to meet up with folks who I'm acquainted with over the internet. And for the fun, of course! Oh, and maybe to do a bit of shopping too

    Gleemax = Enworld

I really don't have a problem with the name Gleemax and actually prefer there to be some history behind it instead of just some random word chosen by some marketdroid somewhere. It's just kinda fun. Besides, as best as I can read into things from various public sources, both Dungeon and Dragon...
