Oh, Mark... I just showed Colosseum to one of the teachers at my school, the one who runs the Ad Astra Program. She's a big fan of the Ticket to Ride series.

She instantly said she wants to play it; so I'll guess I'll have my first game in the Science of Board Games class I'll run on Friday. :)

Cheers!

Nice! The combination of learning and games can hardly be beaten. :)

My once-every-two-months visit to Melbourne was today. I'm really falling behind on Wizards purchases; board games have been taking over of late. Not really different this time around, but I did start to catch up. :)

Role-playing
Star Wars Saga Edition... this makes the 5th edition of the SW rules I own (WEG 1st, WEG 2nd, D20 3rd, D20R 4th, D20 Saga 5th!). I've played the others. I think I'll get a chance to play this soon. Although, I don't know whether it'll be as a player or the GM.

Expedition to the Demonweb Pits... I considered getting E2UM, but I'm more likely to use DWP in the near future. An adventure. Cool. :) I'm not set on any Planescape references, but I love the idea of the Demonweb Pits.

Cities of Peril... The last few times I've been in Melbourne, I've completely walked past the stand with the FLs on it. Cityscapes sound cool, and I do use minis from time to time.

Dungeon Tiles 3... because I have 1 and 2.

Dungeon Tiles 4... because I have 1, 2 and 3... and because I really want some wilderness terrain. Hope to get another set of these soon.

Game Mastery Flip-Mat... it's a 2'x2-1/2' battlemat that you can use dry-erase and wet-erase on. I've got a nice Chessex mat (about 3'x4') that's wet erase, but I'm finding wet-erase pens hard to come by. The size is just right for the smaller tables I've been using as well. Very happy to pick this one up.

...snip

Some nice buys there Merric.

I was very happy with the 2 sets of Dungeon Tiles IV that I bought. They will be even better once a second wilderness set is released. I've like all of these so far.

I too own a wet-erase mat (Crystal Caste) but decided to buy a couple of the Flip-Mats about 6 months ago. For their price they are easily one of the best value items I have bought for my game. The fact that they are dry-erase and can also be folded up to fit in a backpack if required makes them even better.

Expedition to the Demonweb Pits has me interested but there are quite a few adventures that I want at the moment (and yet I have very little chance of getting through a fraction of the ones that I already own! :o )

Why are you still buying things?

Given the good press you tend to generate, I think it's in the interests of WotC to send you free swag.

(And let me know if this works. I'll start being optimistic too!)

Cheers, -- N

Recently: The Mind Divine, from Dreamscarred Press. I am really hoping this is as good as their other PDFs (that I've bought so far). Oh, and I picked up some other PDFs, while I was at it.

Nothing hard copy, lately.

But those Flip-Mats do look nice, so who knows.

Latest purchase was Delta Green d20. Very, very nice.

*cough* It's out!? Ah, CRAP. Now I have to buy it!

I've been pretty light on the purchases lately, what with school coming up and all. Really, just been buying DRAGON and DUNGEON for the last couple of times. Since January, I've purchased -

Complete Scoundrel (spellthiefy goodness... on one page)
Fiendish Codex I (I give it an "enh", but I ain't really a demon freak)
Tome of Battle: Book of Nine Swords (had to give it a look... it was alright, I suppose)
and a Goodman Games Dungeon Crawl Classics module that I really wanna run... involved the Yuan-Ti.

I have to think hard to recall my last WotC purchase... could have been Expedition to Castle Ravenloft a few months ago. Also got Complete Scoundrel and Complete Mage (for my last birthday). I'm really lacking some of the other recent titles...

@Merric: Do you know Shogun (or Wallenstein) from Queen-Games? That board game has some brilliant game design. :)

Latest purchases from the last couple of months include:

Cormyr: Tearing of the Weave
Demonweb Pits
City of Peril
Wilderlands of High Fantasy
City State of the Invinsible Overlord
Players Guide to the Wilderlands
The Crucible of Freya
Dungeon Tiles: Ruins of the Wild

There's a few more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

Let's see, most recent purchases were a self reward for father's day when a bunch of pdfs were on sale.

Neo Exodus Campaign Setting, the race products look nice for this setting with paragon classes but I figured I'd get the setting first and check it out
King of All Pulp Monsters A short book with stats on Kong
Little Black Book Drug creation in d20
Divine Mind psionic god beings
High Psionics: Feats I love the psionic focus mechanic
Races of the Mind: Elan I don't have the XPH, I use the srd but I am interested in Elans from what I know of them.
Eldritch Codex: Libram of Silver Magic Variant base mage and prestige specializations, worth checking out I figure.

I'm considering using a borders coupon to get one of the arcane tiles before the end of the month.
