]Game Mastery Flip-Mat... it's a 2'x2-1/2' battlemat that you can use dry-erase and wet-erase on. I've got a nice Chessex mat (about 3'x4') that's wet erase, but I'm finding wet-erase pens hard to come by. The size is just right for the smaller tables I've been using as well. Very happy to pick this one up.
I had the same problems, but found that Office Works still have a lot in stock up here in Bristopia. You can try them.

Hmmm. . . looking at that list, it might be time to cut waaaaay back on game purchases. I seem to have let my compulsions get the better of me (and you'd think I was totally mad if I'd listed all of my purchases for the last three months).

So. . . er. . . consider the above list to be the end of my gaming purchases for. . . well, probably until the JAGS Archetypes hardcover comes out later this year (November-ish).

Oh and, I wholeheartedly agree on the Steel Sqwire Flip Mats. I picked one up two months back and it's great. Much sturdier and cheaper than a Battlemat, plus easier for folks who use public transit (like myself) to carry around.

Hi,

Mine are:

* Sandstorm -- been meaning to get this for ages and I was able to pick it up at a discounted price.
* Drow of the Underdark -- halfway through reading it; pretty good
* Etherscope pbk edition -- no idea when I'm going to get to play this (if at all) but at £12.99 I couldn't pass this up
* Dungeon Tiles IV

Cheers

Richard

I actually got some money that was owed me, so I was able to get a decent amount of stuff in the last month or so:

Delta Green d20
Also for Call of Cthulhu: Cthulhu by Gaslight (1st edition), Spawn of Azathoth, and Terra Australis

I liked Delta Green so much, I ordered Delta Green: Countdown. Also with that order I got for d20: DCC 31 (the cheapier $2 one) and Westbrook: The Master's Decree (which I had been meaning to buy, since I liked the first one so much. The 2nd book isn't as good, though).

And I just bought from Crothian, Secrets of Japan for CoC and Adventure d20.

Novel wise, I got some old Cthulhu mythos related stuff. August Derleth stuff, which most people don't like, but a surprisingly large amount of stuff from CoC is borrowed from it (they omitted a lot of stuff as well). And also some Ramsey Campbell and "The Great White Space" by Basil Copper, which cost me a decent amount, but was the first mythos book I read

Be sure to post a report on this, please. I love Days of Wonder and have been anxious to know more about this game. :)

Will do! I'll post the report on BoardGameGeek, and post a link to it here.

Looks good from first impressions. I'll get to play next Saturday - alas, I couldn't talk anyone into a game after D&D today.

Cheers!

With my D&D purchases for this half of the year over, what have I bought in total?

D&D Dungeon Tiles 3
D&D Dungeon Tiles 4
City of Peril
Complete Champion
Complete Scoundrel
DungeonScape
Expedition to the Demonweb Pits
Magic Item Compendium

Incidentally: I haven't bought any D&D minis since WotDQ; I've got enough for most purposes at present, and there are more pressing things.

Meanwhile, in the Board Games department...

Tigris & Euphrates
Ra
BattleLore
Settlers of Catan Event Cards
Cities & Knights of Catan - 5-6 player expansion
ASL Rules
ASL Starter Kit #1
ASL Starter Kit #2
Arkham Horror
Dunwich Horror
Curse of the Dark Pharoah
Ysphan
Alhambra
Colosseum
Twilight Imperium 3e
Die Macher
Imperial
Shogun
The Princes of Florence
Ticket to Ride
Ticket to Ride 1910 Expansion
Spirits of Niagara expansion

This indicates my growing interest in boardgames. I'm still playing a lot of D&D - normally 7-8 hours/week; but to that is added quite a bit of boardgaming - about 10 hours/fortnight.

I expect my boardgame purchases to fade a bit now, and D&D to resume a bit, as I've got most of the games that really interest me. :)

Cheers!

In the past two months or so:

-Epic Role Playing books from Crothian (trade)
-The five Scarred Lands Character guides (used)
-Eberron Campaign Setting, Xendrix, and Sharn (new)
-Legacy of Dragons andd Plague of Dreams for Arcana Evolved (Titan games)

I'm trying to slow down my buying and concentrating on filling holes in OOP/dead series like the Scarred Lands and Arcana Evolved. I dove into Eberron to see what all the buzz was about and so far I'm fairly pleased with what I've read.
