    Is there a social obligation?

Depends on what you mean by effective and the size of the party. In a 4 square party, every role is pretty critical. In a party thats 6-7 memebers in size, its not all that critical that all the characters have to be incredible effective. You can have one thats a bit less. Its far more...

Pathfinder 1E WotC desperately needs to learn from Paizo and Privateer Press

If thats the case, then why Forgotten realms, Ebberron, and now dark sun? Why release one world a year, as the 4e model seems to be?

Pathfinder 1E WotC desperately needs to learn from Paizo and Privateer Press

I keep seeing that meme and dont quite see it. ,amy of the U series modules fit quite well into something like Ptolus. As for the others, I can see them fitting quite well, but takes a touch of work. The AP's on the other hand, dont really, butthen again, their AP's....

For those us that are not in the loop- is it all vaccines or just some he had the reaction? ' Because while we get our kids the standard vaccines- MMR, and polio and teh like, we've refused to get them the chicken pox one and the H1N1 vaccine. Flu shot yes, those other two no. I cant blame...

In case you didn't know: The WotC community is FREE

Actually, facebook I believed reversed it, or created an op out after a huge outcry from its public that uses it. Facebook wanted to use any photos you uploaded even if you canceled your account...

In case you didn't know: The WotC community is FREE

I dont know. But if you want to have an open community, pretty much having people feel their ideas- even if they never publish themehmselves, are at risk, is not a good thing. And thats what most people feel. I understand that WotC has to cover their ass. But on the flip side, there's a...

In case you didn't know: The WotC community is FREE

That. There's no way your average gamer who creates stuff for himself and his friends cant risk putting his ideas on WOTC's forum and having it come bite him back in the rear, using his ideas and finding out he doesnt actually own them anymore. I know more than a few folks like that that dont...

    Problem players and you

If he's unwilloing to listen, and unwilling to cooperate, let the dice fall where they may and let the character die. Its a lesson he may need to leran repeatedly. Sorry, dont have any problem player issues currently. If you cant work with the gaming group, you dont make the cut. Only one or...

Character ability v. player volition: INT, WIS, CHA

Well after reading the thread from start to finish, that doesnt seem good enough. I mean, do you stop the wizard/sorcerer with a 20 Int or the Cleric with a 19 wisdom from doing stupid things? I mean their character cant POSSIBLY be dumb enough to do X that stupid, right? Because thats the...

Character ability v. player volition: INT, WIS, CHA

I'm curious. With all the talk of "you must play your stat" when its a low one or a penalty, are some of you going to enforce it with high stats that the player is, well, dumb as bricks if they cant, with the same vigor?

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Bestiary - Discussion

Right. I understand all that. I would still buy the book sight unseen as I already did. And I'm pretty happy with it overall. And I have those- monster revisited items. And their great. But if I were reviewing the book, thats the bad I see. Its not really a bad thing with keeping point 1 and 2...

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Bestiary - Discussion

So I got my Beastiary yesterday. The good and bad. Good is its a gorgeous book. Its really top notch. And its chock full of monsters. The bad? Its chock full of monsters. Lots of crunch and little fluff. Yeah I know the companions like dragons of Gol fill in the blanks, but it feels alot...
