Making it easier to return from the dead

I agree with the Man in the Funny Hat on this, I have DMed quite a few campaigns since 3e came out, very often until high levels, and I find that I have more problems with the in-game interpretation of death than I have about the rules themselves. IMO, it has even become too easy to come back...

Faster feats - keeping them from getting out of hand

What you may do is add some more requirements (level, BAB, save,...) so that the higher-tier feats wouldn't be available too quickly thanks to the increase in the number of feats given. But frankly, I do not see it as a big problem given that some race/class combination can already give feats...

What if the Ability increase was +2 ?

The only issue I see is that character starting with odd attributes are at a bigger disadvantage than under core rules.

Well, you said before that you had other ways than worship for a god to gain godly power, so would it be possible for a mortal to ascend to godhood by syphoning energy (must this process be active, or can it be passive?)? Otherwise, thanks for the reply!

I know you don't want to get into details, so I won't bother you (too much), but do you plan on including details on specific cases which can arise from character having very little worship even though they are high level? In the only epic level campaign I have ever run (the current one should...

    Why can't crossbows be mighty?

Just look at Odysseus (Ulysses, don't know which one is used in English, as I read it in French) in Homer's Odissey, when he comes back to the feast with Penelope's suitors, he is the only one able to put the string on his bow, none of the suitors are strong enough to do it.

Such an interpretation could explain an upper limit for the effectiveness of an anti-magic spell. If you put a cap to the effectiveness of an anti-magic field (for example, any effect with a CL 5 higher than the the CL of the anti-magic field still works), you can easily explain it: the ability...

    Changing the Elf abit

I'd probably give them a +2 to intelligence as they are often shown as good wizards (high magic being an example). I think this would be balanced, but IMO, that wouldn't really suit their flavor, as I have never really gotten from reading about them that they were less strong than a human...

New Spell: Quintin's Quality Contingency. Input wanted

I wonder what spells I would put as contingency to reply to this trigget?!? ;)

Of course I did... I watched the game in Spanish because ESPN in Spanish was the only channel I had which showed it, but I understand enough Spanish to understand that the Reds won! :D That was a very nice day for me: I saw Liverpool won the CL, AC Milan loose it (I support Inter), and I spend...

I'm just kidding you, you know, but it was a bit frustrating reading about all those details while we haven't seen it yet... The Now all I have to work out is whether the Mercury Golems main ability is Transcendental or Omnific. part was really hard on me :D Thanks mate, and to anyone with good...

    Leadership Feat

That's because he's a sorcerer! I don't remember him studying his spells, and he does not seem to know many! :p More seriously, though, I'd go for a feat replacing leadership and that would use another stat, giving a pre-req of Cha 13+.

My nick here is the same as on Dicefreaks, but I more of a lurker there... Such as I am here, come to think of it. Anyway, my posts over there do not attract the kind of attention yours do ;)

Cost of enchanting weapons with +1, spells, Intelligence, etc.

Forge Ring for deflection is a good idea, but house rule, right (I gather that much from your should probably not allow)? Where does the Craft Magic Arms & Armorspre-req on armor special abilities for barcers come from? I remember reading a sidebar on that, but I don't remember where, or that...

My concern was more that in the example you had, where the wizard only had spell slots from 24th to 33rd level, you have to use up a 24th level slot to use magic missile, whether you use metamagic or not. I'll wait to see the whole system for characters, because I am not totally convinced yet...

Of course not, but I still think adding to the power of spells while lowering their number is not always a fair trade-off. My 17th level party (only 3 players - 1 fighter/sorcerer/spellsword, 1 rogue/duelist and 1 wizard/cleric/mystic theurge) and their 3 15th level cohorts (1...

Hi UK! Indeed, I did not understand correctly. I thought the caster would get spells from level 1 to 9, then 12 33rd-level slots. Even after you explained it correctly, I think the lowest level spell being 24th is a bit overkill. Why would I use a 125d6 shocking grasp on a CR2 Ogre when a...

Hi mate! I hope you're keeping well, haven't talked to you for some time! Doesn't that change make spellcasters a lot less powerful? Instead of casting 108 spells above level 9, they can cast 12 spells of level 33. Also, doesn't that leave a huge gap in spell power? Your Cherubim has 12...
