Fixed a few typos for you, WRon... ;) I'd really recommend I-355 from I-55. 83 will work, but it would be pretty slow--you're not driving through wide open spaces like you would be in Pontiac, it's a decent amount of weekend traffic with numerous stop lights. Don't take 294--it's crowded...
