I was think more like a permenant 3rd lvl spell placed on an item. Cloak of Displacement 50% is 50,000. So if the ring was a GMW with a +5 bonus I think its comparible. And VERY useful!

Damn.. at least I'm the same thing P Kitty is.. we probably have the same DR so I can hurt him with my natural attacks :D

Maybe if the paladin had a charge (A younger knight to look after, a damsel in distress to keep out of danger) he would not be so foolhardy. Perhaps a commander who looks upon his "bravery" as recklesness and admonishes him. Maybe his church raises him each time he dies and keeps losing...

Not really. Kiz disguised that she only had 4 hps left when I attacked her really well. A large red dragon gets: Bite, 2 claws, 2 wings, and a tail slap. 5 attacks all powerattacking for 9. I knew she would get hurt.. just not -100 hurt. :(

I would say this is basically a ring of Permenant Greater MAgic Weapon. I would not allow it to work on already magical weapons. I'd guess somewhere around 50,000 for a price if it was a wonderous item but rings usually are a bit more expensive.

I like the idea. Why can't they just worship a male aspect of Lloth? I'm sure lloth would grant spells to the men secretly if it was in her best interest too!

Thats what I said but our group rarely (never) tries that. Doesn't the AoO attacker need a magical weapon of equal or greater value to break the bow?
