I chose Con because it didn't favor any one Casting Class. The Bard/Sorc 8/1 a ninth level PC who spent a feat to be able to should be able to do 5d4+5 damage with a spell 3 times a day. At this level its not unbalanced.

How is a 5/5 Wizard/Bard being able to cast 2 spells as if they were Caster level 10 in need of toning down? Your response has me at a loss without context.

No according to the Sage you cannot put the fiendish or celestial template's on constructs.... you MAY however use the half-dragon template, its a well documented fact that dragons are inordinately fertile and randy.:D
