    I don't see it being a huge problem. Most of the lower level spells have a level cap or somethng along those lines that would help deal with that. It would also make a sleep spell cast by a 20th lvl wiz harder for a low level creature to resist. Sleep has a HD limit if I remember correctly...

    Tweaking Fortification and Vorpal

    The DC on the vorpal should be 10+1/2 damage dealt by crit at a +4 bonus. The DC for the above would be a 72, this is still a high DC, but it will be rare that someone gets this in. I like the fortification changes, still useful but not so much that it makes it overpowering.
