I may be wrong here, because not everybody is suited for a Brute counterpart ( which means it should be covered as a multiclass... )

but for me, Paladin is already a multiclass , like Cleric ( Con x Cha ) Pilot ( Int x Dex ) Brute ( Str x Wis ) ( ... well, something like that lol ) edit : with Brute = Tank ( of Corsa )

I've read in a book relative of Taï Chi Chuan there are 25 known types of Forces ( Strengths ? ), and the Exploding Fist is just one of'em; I wish to scratch ( at least ein bischen ) his legend, because I do think Martial Arts are scratched by Fighting Sports which encourage Violence over Peace...

also, Resurrection gives a Restoration, Regenerate, Cure Disease ( hm must be included in the Heal spell ( so you see where I'm going ? ) ... so it's a shortcut ( castable in 1 rnd instead of using a round to Raise Dead, then another round to cast the Heal ) Resurrect ( as a 7th Level spell )...

note that Elementalists were introduced in the 1st Unearthed Arcana ( from 1st Ed Ad&d ) as Druids of Levels 15 to 23 ( if my memory recalls correctly ) :)

that is to say, you could add special abilities for each Alignment Level :)

euh Clerics can be reshaped as Warrior/Priests :)

here an idea : make the Paladin a Warrior/Priest, and then add special abilities from his Alignment ( traditionally LG :) ) :)

if you affiliate nature-based to Priesthood Core Class ( as in 2nd ed ) then you end up with a Magic-User / Priest combo, which hasn't proven localyzation in the six-Core Classes combos ( like a Cleric = Warrior/Priest, an Elementalist = Warrior/M-U, a Psionicist = Warrrior/Rogue or so :) )...

two things I look for : Constitution in Ad&d as printed in OP was Physique and Fitness, contrary to 2E Player's Option, where CON is a mix of Health and Fitness. also, beyond the scope of Hit Points, Video Games often use Life Points. :)

just one funny thing ( from my system, GAYCOP in french, WAYCOT in english ) to create a Martial Artist, merge Warrior with Creator; a Monk uses the Acrobat/Thinker combo, , and the third Class is Yoghin combined with Orator... you can create three types of Martial Artists that way ;)

to me, the Music associated to the Movie is essential even with low graphics a poor movie ( like perhaps Hokuto Kenshiro Fist of the North Star ) with wondrous music will provide great show; ... and ( but perhaps the ego whip while in theater, with marvelous landscape will last as a great movie...
