I played a a lot of necro in D2. So much that I didn't bother buying it in D3. I levelled a Crusader to 70 but didn't really enjoy it as much as a Leap-Quake or Whirlwind Barb.
My current DM asks "How do you want to do this?" and each player gets to decide their own level of gore.
Most of us describe how we cut, stab, or burn a foe to death, but I don't think anyone has gone into the details of the gore.
It looks like this Barbarian is a little closer to the D2 one, with the Druid taking back the elemental aspects from the D3 Barbarian.
As a guy who only played the Barbarian class in D3 I'm excited to have two options that look fun to me again.
Having something in development for a while does not necessarily mean it was demo ready. They needed something to show for this Blizzcon. They needed a demo.
I can't for sure say that they didn't have things ready for a long time, but I do think there was a lot of urgency to have the next...
I haven't seen it yet but I read John Scalzi's review: Terminator: Dark Fate Review which makes me want to see it.
Also finding out Joe Abercrombie (one of my favorite authors writing today) is responsible for the idea of Grace (whom I've heard is the best part of the film) tips me towards...
I'm taking the gameplay with a grain of salt. I think it likely the demo was rushed out over the past year after the reaction to the Diablo Immortal announcement.
The sentence is correct if a bit confusing since it can be interpreted another way; it was the debut of Vin Diesel's movie The Last Witch Hunter.
Isn't English fun!
Yup.
Apart from me everyone is brand new to the game (even the DM). I've taken 2 feats and one other player took Dual Welder after I explained (several times) that if she wanted her player to fight with 2 battleaxes it would help very much.
I sometimes regret this decision after I have to...
I don't know for sure, but likely they won't pick them at all as the campaign will end before level 12.
But honestly my players can barely be bothered to crack open a game book much less examine a list of feats. We could play without ASIs and it wouldn't make much of a difference to them.
I loved the D2:LoD Druid. Turning into an anthropomorphic Werebear and battering demons around with my claws was so much fun.
Even though I decided to cancel my WoW classic subscription after the HK Situation I am very likely to buy this.
The color scheme looking more like D2 is a plus too...
I think your right, just from a personal stance I'll like to avoid the critic bias and go straight to the plyaers.
As far I know it's the critics initial review somehow combined with players reviews, and I think few players go back and update their reviews, or make a new one for a game that's...
What about user scores? I've typically found those to be more telling than the straight metascore (outside of review bombs sigh)
Edit: also I'll point out I have no bone to pick here. I love Skyrim and Doom, I've yet to play Prey but it's a favorite of a trusted friend
Further edit: I just did...
