    Actually a trip attempt is a trip attempt not a regular attack so if you succeed on a trip ATTEMPT and then get an attack from improved trip then you havent went agains the writing of the text (improved trip lets you fo an attack AS IF you didnt do a trip that DOESNT mean ALL your attack ARENT...

    i thin k it is hard to deny that these abilities increase your tripping you could trip alot of things at high levels... this makes tripping much more powerful WITHOUT making it too good...

    Yeah there is no reason not to get those feats and take this PrC those feats do not replace the bonuses given by this PrC... (again I havent looked at ToB though).. I love defensive throw and I have NPC's right now in my campaing that have those feats from CW... Also there may be a mix up...

    Yeah the ability to trip anything would be nice... I have looked at CW but not at the Tome of battle... I think that the complete Warrior feats, while good, dont offer what this PrC could (I dont know about ToB)...

    I was trying to accomplish this with the ability to add +2 to your str check fro every 5 your attack roll was over the touch AC of the creature tripped (touch AC is usually really low especially for big creatures with huge natural armor and no Dex,)... So, this would offest the bonus they get in...

    I was thinking the sweeping takedown ability would help with manueverability at least alittle (since you could take a move and a full attack of trips in the same round). But what would you suggest in terms of manueverability (the dimension anchor thing is nice though)...

    D&D 3.x 3.5 core 3 tripper build help optimization

    Yeah dimension door is good, but is takes a standard action (if only this class feature made an exception and made it a move action!!!). I really sucks using up that turn (especially if the battle could be over by then), but putting you self in a postion to get AOO's is always a worthwhile move...
