Covers Preview for Elemental Evil Adventurer's Handbook and Princes of the Apocalypse!

It is interesting that they have created a ton of Realm Lore through setting products, books, comics, pc games, etc and they used nothing of it. They just grabbed elemental evil from greyhawk and the dragon queen - the archvillain - from dragonlance and put em in the realms. I can see the logic...

    D&D 5E (2014) Age of Worms 5th Edition

Hello, my gf wants to convert her 3,5 campaign of Age of Worms to 5e. However she is not experienced enough to do the conversion herself. Moreover, I cannot help her since I am player in this campaign. Has anyone converted this adventure path to 5th edition? We are currently on the second...

Covers Preview for Elemental Evil Adventurer's Handbook and Princes of the Apocalypse!

Of course I can play the adventures in any world i like. Actually I am playing the HotDQ in my homebrew campaign. This isn't the point. It is just I find annoying to take some of the iconic features of some settings (like Dragonlance and Greyhawk) and with an eclectic approach to put all these...

    D&D 5E (2014) WotC 5E Release Schedule - What's Next?

Reading the description of the "Princes of Apocalypse" it states (emphasis mine) link: http://www.enworld.org/forum/content.php?1846-Sasquatch-Studios-Will-Produce-ADVENTURER-s-HANDBOOK-and-PRINCES-OF-THE-APOCALYPSE-for-D-D-5E-in-2015!#.VJcvO14iw So, indirectly, it states that the adventure...

    D&D 5E (2014) Totally bragging

I have managed to make a couple of players to cry for the story i made for them. And the tears weren't because their character died.

Check out Keith's Baker (the creator of Eberron) blog. He has made versions of the warforge and the Artificer and maybe more. http://keith-baker.com/extra-life-hacking-the-artificer/

    [UPDATED] Glimpses of the DMG!

I couldn't imagine that my pleading tweet to Mearls to include speed factor worked (I am not saying i was the sole reason of speed factor, but for sure i was a voice that eventually got heard)!! A little thing that made my day :D

    The One Ring Roleplaying Game

5 out of 5 rating for The One Ring Roleplaying Game The One Ring is the best rpg game which is set the world of Tolkien (and i have played the past two iterations of the game). They approach the work of Tolkien with respect and with a freshness that surprises you. It is a lite game based more...

    D&D 5E (2014) I have the DMG!

Thank you for the infos Nicosandros! I have two questions: 1) Can you explain the variants of slower natural healing/resting rules and 2) Does the trade (like alchemist or herbalist) described more thoroughly (ex. are there alchemical items or something that would rule about alchemy?).

    D&D 5th Edition Monster Manual

5 out of 5 rating for D&D 5th Edition Monster Manual A beauty to look, a pleasure to read, one of the most well presented MM. I would prefere a paragraph or two more in each creature (a pure ecology would be nice), but noone is perfect.

    Hoard of the Dragon Queen

2 out of 5 rating for Hoard of the Dragon Queen The story has some very good ideas and concepts but they are ill-presented. Also there is no life in it. It is dull written. Also it has many mistakes in it and you have to rely in extra material from the net. I think the adventure is half-worked...

    D&D 5E (2014) The Ranger

Exactly my thoughts. I really detest the flavour of 5e ranger. He is too magical for my taste. Also, the beastmaster, a favored character archetype (as summoner or a druid with animal companion) is not fun to play, for me at least. It is funny, because one of the thing that they advertised is...

Cultural Traits (please tell me if you find these balanced)

My homebrew campaign is based on various humans nations. There are almost no humanoid playble races. So, to make the various nations of my world more interesting and diverse i make these cultural traits. Most of these traits they give two "+1" on abilities, a bonus skill, and a cultural feat. I...

D&D 5E (2014) What do you like to see in the Dungeon Master's Guide?

Mearls stated indirectly that these features will not included in there. In DMG there are some more complicated -advanced - and some optional rules. I thought that the summonings and the animal companions although they are fun to play, bring more complications to the gaming table which slow...
