This doesn't seem to be a campaign, not even a real adventure. From the review on DTRPG: "Chapter 7 provides general adventure ideas in Erethor for both good or evil parties, and three short encounters taking advantage of the various areas described in the book."

Were there any adventures / campaigns for the previous editions? Nowadays I only buy RPGs that come with complete campaigns. As far as I know recent FFG RPGs are not like this. They release some adventures later, but not big complete campaigns, don't they?

Maybe I understand this differently. Civilization is the static thing (villages, towns) and outside of civilization are the wanderers who do not want to stay put. Back then (before the modern times) that was probably a conscious choice, not necessarily a good or a bad thing, just a different...

I understand the need for some of the changes with the Vistani. I don't understand why living outside of civilization was bad. That's not the same as uncivilized. Also the drunken part / scense. These are not all the Vistani, but one group who are stuck in the mists and living in that dreadful...

But those are not big changes. Yes, they are important ones, but those don't make this a new edition. They just corrected those issues (he even mentioned surgically), but nothing more. A real update would be to include things like: Flowcharts, like all the recent campaigns have them Encounters...

I have a lot of issues with this: I don't want a coffin shaped box. Why did they do that? I would have probably thought that it was cool when I was 16, but that was a long time ago. It's not even useful. It will look strange on a shelf and you can't put as much stuff in it as in a normal box...

That would have been my feedback :) This just shows me that a lot of people are unhappy with these great IPs becoming 2d20 games. I would probably get a lot of them if they were using a different system.

I will probably have a look at it but I still think it's Divinity Original Sin 3 and not Baldur's Gate 3. I simply can't get used to 3D. I also did not enjoy the DOS stories, characters, world, etc. Hopefully I'll be positively surprised.

I haven't check this one out yet, but I generally like if there are a lot of skills. I dislike 5E because the lack of skills. I like CoC because of the skills (now there you could argue that they are too much, but I'm never sure. Most of the time I think that Savage Worlds has not enough skills...

Making fun of typos, or even mentioning them is not intelligent. It's one the most irritating behaviors there is. I wish all forums would instatntly block people that do that.

Same here. On the other hand, if it has a campaign / adventures / adventure seeds those can be used with the other systems. So I might get it.

Don't get me wrong please, this is not meant to be an insult: one needs to appreciate change (or for something to be different than expected) to appreciate some things. We are used to for serieses (be it books, movies or TV shows) to be more of the same. Like The Wheel of Time. It's the same...
