    D&D 5E (2014) Halflings are the 7th most popular 5e race

I only searched the content type 'DMS Guild' to exclude classic editions and 'official' content.

    D&D 5E (2014) Halflings are the 7th most popular 5e race

I searched DM's Guild content for 'halfling' and 'elf'. There are 371 items compared to 699 for elf. That seems to be a fair amount.

    D&D 5E (2014) Halflings are the 7th most popular 5e race

It seems to me that Halflings are archetypes of the common folk (usually pastoral). That is probably why Tolkien made them up. I don't see any other race/species can be used in that niche. Certainly, I can't imagine Merry the Morris Dancer (Monk) with his in your face attitute being anything...

D&D General Kobold Press Going Down a Dark Road

That sounds good. I've played Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple which was good. Not a RPG, but more a story game. https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/92348/Do-Pilgrims-of-the-Flying-Temple

Okay, so what do you think older players like? Just because of the focus previously on high disposable income. That's okay. I think you are watching my share as well. :D

Apparently. Or at least no where near as much as younger people. Edited to include quote.

I'm still not seeing what point you're trying to make after all these posts. What should wotc do to target the older players? From what parmandur said, movies are out because older people don't watch them. I'm guessing it needs to be expensive because they need a high disposable income to buy it.

But does that mean? How does targeting this adults work? Do I have to stop being a child because I am over 50 and have three kids? What if I don't like rogue one?

I would have thought they were teen movies myself. So, what makes them adult and how does that apply to d&d?

I was about to write the same thing, as someone in the 50+ bracket. Does glam rock count? Or something inspired by Miyazaki (i.e. Kiki's delivery service)? Simpler rules? I'm not sure what it looks like.

The other thing about getting older is better impulse control. I bought heaps of games when I was young that I was never able to play. Now, I only buy what I think I will use and am better at knowing if that is true. (This might not apply to everyone).

    D&D General D&D Creator Summit--VTT & One D&D

It seems perfect for my Halfing Morris Dancer. Although, I would have to see it. It is currently built using the monk class and entertainer background.

Isn't 'game designer' a better description of what you do? And publisher of course.

Spirit of the century? Did you mean fate? I didn't think it was licensed or used a licence. It doesn't appear on the fate srd last I saw. Btw, fate is licensed under CC-BY and OGL.

Do we have any indication that the 2014 core books will be available digitally? Or will they treat them the same way as Volo's and make them 'legacy' products digitally and physically?

Do the Non-US Players and DMs use the metric system?

Oh, I get there eventually. It just isn't natural and I'm never 100% sure I have it right if I do it on the fly.

Do the Non-US Players and DMs use the metric system?

Yes. It is pretty much the only time I need to know how much a pound is. Otherwise, it never comes up in Australia.

The bit which trips me up are weight triggered traps. Will this to kobold adventurer trigger a pressure plate that triggers at 50 pounds. I have to figure out if kilos are twice pounds or the other way round.
