Thanks for the spelling catch! As for color usage, I plan on printing these professionally, so color won't be an issue. But I will release a printer friendly option. :D

I own all the Flip-Mats. As Richards said, they're large enough to get a good battle in, but small enough that the PCs would probably see most everything anyway, with the exception of the cave and dungeon ones.

So out of curiosity, design aesthetics aside, you feel this is useless to new players because it doesn't have spell descriptions for the two casting classes?

Thanks for the feedback! The negative space provides rest for the eyes and brings balance to the document. Without it, it would be a wall of text. As for spell descriptions, those can be found in the rulebook. Again, don't want too much text. :)
