    Forgotten Realms 4th edition

The Zentarim one is an 8 hour adventure that would be pretty good for you. The rest may be too short to get the full FR flavor, imo, but ymmv.

    D&D Podcast: MM2

Have you tried the PHB1 classes with the powers books? My warlord got way more interesting after I had access to more powers. Generally speaking, I think the powers books are meant to do what you suggest and I feel like they accomplish it.

    It's hard to avoid arguing

I almost posted in the "Is D&D Sexist?" thread but stopped, thanks to this thread.

How many DM's have actually run a published Adventure Path?

I ran Shackled City from beginning to end. The only modifications I made were to add a large chunk of roleplaying before the last two adventures, and then squished the last 2 adventures together (we were ready for 4e). To me, the greatest asset was always having the next adventure ready. It's...

When do you give up on a PC? Forked Thread: Twilight of the Warlocks

    1) When everyone in a party does what I do better. (High level 2e thief) 2) Roleplaying hooks mostly, but also unique ways to help. 3) Flavor (3e bard) To expound a little more, my favorite character was a wizard with poor stats across the board. The only reason he was worth playing was because...

    Inconsistant/Arbitrary rules...

4E: (Assuming this hasn't been clarified and I missed it) Some monster powers have effects that occur after the first failed save. If you grant someone a save (say from a cleric or warlord power) and they fail, does it fulfill the requirement? I think by the rules it would, but I feel that...

    The price of things

If you want to really do it (and others suggest not to), here are numbers you could maybe adjust. Considering an item is full price, I would subtract 50% for overhead. A magic item shop would require a significant amount of up front capital. Probably 20% of the value of all items you expect...

Classes and Roles: supply and demand

As purely anecdotal evidence, I've always heard that pick-up RPGA games are always striker heavy. Everyone wants to hand out damage, I guess.

    It's hard to avoid arguing

I get tired of reading arguments, and I typically don't contribute. I have found myself reading the first page of threads and then not reading the rest. In fact, if a thread is over 3 pages, I basically assume the the comments are 1) mostly repeats or rehashes or 2) arguments that can be...

    Tell us about yourself...

I think those year ranges are the typical way to lump together the "some college education" and "completed college education". But with around 25% of students graduating in 4 years, it all gets a lot more complicated!

    Tell us about yourself...

Maybe I shouldn't be surprised by the large number of >16 years of education responses. That's a lot of Masters and Ph.D.s floating around the board!

Pathfinder 1E Business models from TSR, WotC and Paizo

I imagine the "DMs buy, Players borrow" problem is why WotC is: 1) Making some books more DM focused. 2) Making DMing easier so more people do it. 3) Removing Player rewards in RPGA and only having DM awards. 4) Moving more towards DM tools in DDI.

    Best RPGA adventures?

Here would be an ideal place to record your impressions. http://www.enworld.org/forum/general-rpg-discussion/255487-not-so-great-rpga-adventures.html

    Not so great RPGA adventures?

As a companion thread to: http://www.enworld.org/forum/general-rpg-discussion/255313-best-rpga-adventures.html What were your least favorite Living Forgotten Realms adventures? Even if you just read it and said "Yuck" and didn't run it. (That's me and AKAN 1-1.) Dedekind

    Best RPGA adventures?

I suspect that is on target for all the votes. I will post a "least" favorite thread later tonight. As a side note, are there any that are better/worse at high level play than low level play? Dedekind

    Best RPGA adventures?

Several of them have been adapted for RPGA, but are not exactly the same. However, I can't speak to the quality of the adaptations and I didn't include them in the poll.

    Best RPGA adventures?

One of the reasons I wanted this poll was so that I (and others in the future) could get an idea of what was good before I downloaded it. I could do the sanction/cancel thing to get them all (as was suggested) but I also wanted to see what the feedback was like. I probably wouldn't have done...

    Best RPGA adventures?

I'm surprised you disliked the Aglarond one so much. Between this poll and the WotC thread, ALGA is one of the more popular ones. And my players loved it. I think the skill challenge is a great generic one since it can use several different skills and the players can opt out, if they want. Of...
