    HBO's ROME

Egypt is where Ceasar's hubris really starts to catch up with him. I really like how they cast Cleopatra, by alot of accounts she wasn't really all that great looking. But she had charisma. And Antonius is so freightning in this episode. He has such a complete lack of morality. He wants to...

    HBO's ROME

Yeah the whole Antonius/Cleopatra thing didn't happen till after Ceasar was dead. In fact that is why it happened. Antonius went to Egypt for the power to knock out his rival Octavian.

Don't know if this is well known or not, so sorry if this is old news. http://thehansofoundation.org/ and http://thehansofoundation.org/dharma.html I so far can't get the flash to load on the second one, but I suspect its just the Dharma briefing movie.

    HBO's ROME

Well according to real History Caesar does get the Treasury that Pompeius Magnus left behind. I really like the accuracy on this show...the fact that Cato has no Tunic on under his Toga just blows me away...perfect.

    Fairly radical new combat rules

This is now so far away from 3.5E you might just want to save yourself some time and play Ars Magica, cause this system is starting to look like it. :)

    [June] What are you reading?

Here is my second post in this thread, not going to quite make it through 4 books, I've started reading the Marcus Didius Falco books by Lidsey Davis. 3.5 books a months isn't too bad :) I blame knights of the old republic 2 for that.
