The only other WW products I have purchased have Monte Cooke's name on the cover, and while I may not get this one, it looks like something I'd be interested in.
I used to write my own materials, but don't really have the time since finishing up school. So, now I write my own adventures, but I mostly use pre-written materials as far as game systems, settings, etc...
You could conceivably run a single character through the Freeport Trilogy (Death, Terror, and Madness) although you'd have to either up the character level or tone down some encounters.
This is a good point - none of the protagonists are traditional heroes, although I just want to find out what's going to happen now that I've devoted however many hours to reading the strip. (And Wanda looks totally hot when she summons Parson)
