A detailed town in the DMG: your preference?

Sample Town? First off, any poll including FNORD as a response should be multiple choice. And open. Seriously. Fnord. Secondly, I would be very interested in having a town in the DMG. I have used the locations from the (admittedly few) modules I have purchased, moving from Hommlett (RTTOEE) to...

    D&D 4E 4e Srd

The SRD is nice, but I will buy the books regardless of when it becomes available.

D&D 4E 4E Player's Handbook just put on some weight!!!!

It would make sense for them to make a larger PHB 1, it should contain more rules content than subsequent PHB's.

    DM Screen

I have two screens: 1) The 3.0 screen, with a bunch of charts taped on the back to update to 3.5 (taken from reference sheets found on Enworld, although I can't find them now). 2) The Eberron Screen, bought more for the map, used more frequently because it's not as tall and I can see more of...

    No Druid in PHB?

Not to be overly negative, but why do I get the feeling we'll gbe seeing this again in about 8-10 years? On topic, I think that the druid could easily be expressed as a "cleric of a different role" although I would like to see it kept as a seperate class.

Psionics/Oriental Adventures in their own books, or in PHB*, future core books?

I think that the OA stuff and the psionics stuff could probably be put in the same volume, especially is WotC maintains that ki and psi are two manifestations of the same power source.

    WotC Blogs II

I don't remember if it was an appendix of the 3e DMG, or in the little booklet that came with the DM screen, but the collection of all the tables together was invaluable, and I missed having it in 3.5

    Load me up with Eberron!

I think the sections you are referring to are in 5 Nations, not the Player's Guide to Eberron. I'd recommend staying away from Races of Eberron, but almost all of the other books are pretty good, except for the modules.

D&D 3.x Which 3E OGL/D20 books do you want to see re-released under the 4E OGL?

I will probably either run Ptolus in 3.5, or (much more likely) convert things that need converting, and leave the rest as it is.

D&D 4E Weapon Sizes must die in 4E

It'd be nice if instead of a generic size category (and I'm going to Eberronize things because that's the setting I run) and generic weapon name, you had a list of weapons like this: Taslantia Long Blade (1d4) (Small Shortsword) Karrnathi War Sword (1d10) (Medium Bastard Sword) Cyrian Rapier...

    Module for newbie DM

The original trilogy doesn't have any particularly adult content, particularly if it is run as though inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean.

Rich Burlew's (Order of the Stick) setting?

That's entirely feasible, although I think if Rich was doing something similar, he's definitely put a different spin in either one.

    Changes to Devils and Demons

As someone who is relatively new to D&D (started playing in 2001), I wouldn't know anything about planescape if I didn't frequent this board and the WotC boards. Or, I might remember Planescape: Torment, but that'd be it. Out of the 4 groups I have been fortunate to be a part of, only people in...

    Dilemma time! Help?

I would allow the bard to make a bluff check and feign death (talking is a free action, as is dropping stuff). IF the otugyh falls for it, he'll probably drop the bard, and move closer (ending its turn). On the bards turn, he could attempt to fascinate the creature, or just run for it.

The BEST Excel/Spreadsheet Character Sheet Around?

I've used Heroforge, and even managed to add some of my house rules in despite having little-to-no excel-fu.

How much would it cost to hire a rpg writer?

I'll do it for $0.005 - $0.01 per word - but my writing experience is more in history papers, english essays, and my own gaming materials, as opposed to work of a professional nature.

When did you start using Greyhawk?

I purchased the living greyhawk book, but there wasn't enough interest to run a game.

    What? No spelljammer update?

good online shops for out-of-print books?

The Sentry Box, located in Calgary, Alberta has an excellent range of products, and usually has out of print stuff. www.sentrybox.com

    D&D 4E WotC guys - Playtesting 4E in Canada/outside the US?

My name is Tim, and I AM CANADIAN! (sorry, couldn't resist) I, too want to playtest, but I don't think I'll get picked... not in the RPGA, and I only have a D&D Insider account so that I can check out the trial period to make my mind up about continuing to subscribe.
