Yeah, the new chat client kept me away from there for quite a long time. Even after I started going back, it wasn't often.

Earlier in this thread, it was mentioned the new revised edition drops the setting and adds all of the material from the companion. If I am able to get the original and companion cheap, is it worth getting the revised book?

Yeah, I know what you mean. Ever since he's been involved in the online community at the WotC site, it's really gone downhill IMO. Because of that, I've completely avoided his podcasts. *rolls dice** :1: :1: Yep, not worth watching IMO.

Drow are unheard of in my game. Only elves have heard of them, and they are equivalent to our real world boogie-man. Unfortunately for the world, they do exist... As many others, they are albino but taller than humans; 6-1/2' - 7' tall. Mechanics are similar, but all are gestalt characters...

4e has no real appeal to me. Although PathFinder looks good, I'll probably not be getting it, either. I'll be sticking with 3.5 until I make my own bastardized version of it. I have a few others that interest me (GURPS, WEG d6 Fantasy), but I don't know of any others in the area that play...

Divine Masters by Kenzer & Co is Kalamar specific, but does a great job by having "Advanced Clerics" for each of the gods. It's very similar to the Faiths & Avatar series for the 2e realms. They give them different class skills, hit dice, saves, weapon proficiencies, and everything else...

I've seen ONE character with 6 classes Fighter 2, Wizard 5, Cleric 3, Monk 2, Shadow Adept 5, Nightcloak 5 (22 total) Mostly seen 1 or 2 classes with the occasional 3 (2 base + prestige)

Instead of 3 core books, how about 4 plus a setting... Core rules and setting

I've never looked through or discussed this book. Is it a "combat on steroids" book? That's what it sounds like.
