I'm just now digging into Eberron and we're playing in Sharn. So much going on there.

We went in the opposite direction and started A5E. My players like their super powers, hence their hesitancy to play OSR. I'm waffling between a PDF pledge or maybe just getting the core book. I don't know about a $200+ purchase to get everything. The starter set PDF wasn't able to sell them.

The FOMO is high for me - especially since I don't have any of the Shadowdark books. I'm still on the fence because I have so many OSR systems. My groups don't especially like them, so it's unlikely I'd ever use it.

I got it in a PDF bundle but not the physical product. IIRC, there's no information about character creation (just the pregens). Oddly, the pregens start at level 4, so it's a Starter Set that isn't for new players. I'm saying this from the perspective of someone who has the 3 Core Books of A5E...
