Yes, the d20 is sacred, no matter how many problems it solves. Overall sometimes I think the d10 could be a better dice with a much tighter probability curve or more exactly variation of rolls. But overall I like my d20s, and I think I'll love the Enworld ones I'll be getting later this year.

Yeah, that feat has a very high place on the list of things that should never be allowed. The whole book is pretty prominent also.

As I have said upthread, I have pledged for the pdfs and the dice. However, the current stretch goals do not interest me at all. I understand coming up with them on the fly can be a lot of work, but what is is.

In the smaller menu bar at the top of this page go to Forum Actions --> General Settings --> Default Thread Subscription Mode to turn them off generally. As for ongoing subscriptions, go to Quick Links and then Subscribed Threads. That should do it.

I had it turned off on the old server, but then it was on again when the new server went live. I have it turned off again, but the new server definitely did turn subscriptions back on for me.

Pathfinder add-ons are not too enticing for me unfortunately.

My take on gender differences is that PCs are already so exceptional that the average abilities for gender are meaningless.

Overall, I find the blanket bonuses to be a clunky way of letting humans be a bit of a jack of all trades. If you want to do it less clunkily, give them a +1 to all rolls, or saves, or contested rolls or whatever. I thought 4E did it well, +1 to defenses and a bonus at will and a feat A feat...

I do not play Pathfinder but I am very curious how the poll works out. With all those APs published are they used? So far it looks like they are mostly used. Good thread idea.
