D&D 5E (2014) Halfling rogue sniping from the the second rank

I believe this is an invalid syllogism. All combatants who are not hidden have their position known, but this does not mean that all combatants whose position is known are not hidden. A combatant may correctly deduce the location of a hidden creature; all the hidden state cares about is if the...

D&D 5E (2014) Halfling rogue sniping from the the second rank

I agree, there's no indication when RAW that Stealth has a "memory." When you attack someone, you reveal your position, but the only requirement for hiding again is that the enemy cannot see you, not that it doesn't know where you are. In the case of the Halfling, Naturally Stealthy provides an...

D&D 5E (2014) Halfling rogue sniping from the the second rank

Specific beats general. If a halfling can hide behind a human, they can hide behind a human. I don't see the extrapolation where they can't hide again because the enemy knows where they are, because the stealth rules don't address knowledge, only sight.

    D&D 5E (2014) AC 25+

That's actually a pretty clever way to get around armor stacking problems.

D&D 5E (2014) Wizard with 20 CON and the Durable feat

That sounds like the most reasonable interpretation. The Wizard with 20 Con has his average HD roll go from 8.5 to 10.17.

D&D 5E (2014) Wizard with 20 CON and the Durable feat

Good point, it should say 15 instead of 10 in the poll. It's worth noting that the resting section says nothing about the roll of each hit die being limited by the size of the hit die.

D&D 5E (2014) Wizard with 20 CON and the Durable feat

Does he get 10 HP every time he rolls his d6 hit die?

    D&D 5E (2014) Moar Feats

Durable got buffed. It used to only give you a minimum of your Constitution modifier(minimum 2). I can already see the arguments about whether or not a Wizard with this feat and 20 CON gets 10 HP per HD with this feat.

D&D 5E (2014) A viable game and the vicious edition cycle

That would be a good idea, especially since I think the main core of the game is very solid this time around. Just make incremental tweaks to the core rulebooks every five years or so, using what they've learned over years of play and feedback to better balance the game.

D&D 5E (2014) The Ranger: You got spellcasting in my peanut butter!

I've always thought Rangers casting spells was a bit weird, but at least it looks like they're getting some unique, Ranger-y spells this time around.

D&D 5E (2014) Ability Scores Are Different Now?

I don't think there are going to be very many monsters that you need a 16 to hit.

D&D 5E (2014) A viable game and the vicious edition cycle

I certainly hope 5e can do what no edition of D&D has done this millennium and last a full decade. I think it has a stronger chance than the previous two editions, as the system seems less complex and more stable than before. Bloat is inevitable but hopefully there's less emphasis from WotC on...

Pathfinder 1E Sacred Geometry - Ladies and gentlemen, Pathfinder has jumped the shark

Quantum Memory Prerequisites: One blank index card, one erasable writing instrument, such as a lead pencil. Benefit: Write down this feat on the index card using your writing instrument. While no one is looking, you may erase the text of this feat and replace it with any other, writing down...

D&D 5E (2014) Legends and Lore July 28: Keeping it Classy

The original 3e Ranger was even worse than that... his archetype was "really sucky TWF Fighter with a couple more skills and a few Druid spells."
